Alternative to M n S knickers please?

I am done with M n S knickers - what can I buy instead that won't break the bank please? I was a fan of the midi for years, but a) I think the quality has deteriorated, the top band just seems thin and cheap and b) I have developed a bit of a menopause belly this year and I think I need something a bit fuller with some tummy control, rather than me bulging over the top!! Help!!

Years ago Sloggi briefs got a lot of mentions are they any good?

I have recently bought sloggi - love them!
I’ve also bought those British boxers and I was a bit miffed with the quality of 1 of the pairs but the rest seem ok.
Ive just bought some oddballs ones but not worn them yet, DH likes the men’s though

My last M&S ones have ended up in holes so I tried Stripe and Stare. At first I wasn't sure as I had always bought cotton knickers and these also felt very thin but OMG I'm converted! They are so comfortable. The only downside is they are more expensive and they shouldn't go in the tumble dryer but the comfort is worth it and they aren't showing are signs of wear after quite a bit of use.

Have you tried the M&S ‘full’ brief op?
quality varies depending on which fabric composition you go for but they definitely fit the bill, belly wise as very high waisted

The full brief are still poor quality. They all are.

I was going to say asda george..I have been very impressed and they wash well.

I agree about Asda. Great value & surprisingly very good quality, far better than M&S

Wiripa are amazing. I have bought some in the last few months and they were thick with lined gussets as they have been previously. I genuinely sometimes have a moment where I appreciate their comfort compared to the m and s pants I wore before, they are all in the bin now!
