As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

I actually like this one and have just bought it. £99 seems pretty good. I really like the AoS eye cream and the MediK8 is a bonus. A cleansing balm I'll always use as I go through loads. Other bits I might sell or pass on. The soap (scent dependant) will go in DS's diy advent as he goes through loads of soap.

I take the point about soap not being that impressive though.

Bit scared to ask after the luxe AC debacle, but has anyone ordered anything on SNK today? I’m not seeing any sample options when I add something to the basket. Are other people seeing any?

Yes maybe if I liked the medik8 serum it would've been a buy. I bought that when it launched and wasn't impressed, do have one coming in one of my advents.
I think um a bit disappointed in Caroline Hirons, she's said a few times she doesnt rate pdrn and I know medik8 have great formulas but it seems a little like she will put anything in now rather than stuff she thinks is great. I dont know what im trying to say really ha

I'm going to resist the kit, I'm only bothered about the medik8 and aos and I bought the medik8 on vinted. I have 3 eye products from the Harrods BAC and 3 from the BT BAC 🤞🏻 so I don't think I need anymore.

I really rate medik8 but don’t like C’s behaviour so won’t buy.

The Rhode bag I thought was very expensive has already sold out, so that tells me 😂 The Lemontini Peptide Lip Tint is gone too, surprised that was popular.

Our MaryBD did a review of the medik8 serum today and was (very politely and diplomatically, as always) positive but not glowing, which is exactly the impression I've got from the reviews I've seen. I've been avoiding it anyway as it has niacinamide, but interested to hear if it wins anyone over in a few weeks/months once people have made their way through a whole bottle.

As an aside, I love that I can trust BD to be honest in reviews even when the products are gifted - definitely not the case with some other influencers!

The bag was limited edition and people from outside of Europe/UK are after it and Lemontini was limited as well as not available here when it originally launched. Can you tell I ordered all 3 😂😂

Wondering whether this will eat into Space NK's BAC sales. The Medik8 PDRN serum is a big draw as it's newly released, and £99 is a far easier price point for most people compared to £275. The serum alone is already £78, after all!

The description of the kit on the website screams AI-generated. My eyes glazed over.

😂 Pretzel is lovely but I could not see the appeal of Lemontini, especially coming into winter! I guess if you’re a bit of a collector though it makes sense. I still haven’t tried out Sweet Apple or my Pocket Pearls, but I rarely wear makeup despite having so much of it!

I’ll go against the tide here because it became one of my HG products within a couple of weeks use. Forehead lines pretty much wiped out, nasolabial folds looking better too. I use it in conjunction with Medik8 advance peptides and the combination has done wonders for my skin (just not my bank account).

Can you please say this again for the hard of hearing and forehead furrowed - which two products are you using? (And are you using them twice a day?)

I have had lines on my forehead since I’ve been about 12 and I’m starting to feel like crusty the clown now. I’ve held off doing Botox because I’d rather buy ACs.

Oh thank you 🥰 I really like the advance peptides but fancied trying something different. I do have liquid peptides in my stash so I could try them both together.

It's the medik8 exosome pdrn serum with the medik8 advanced peptides serum. An expensive combination. The advanced peptides serum is amazing though 😍

I like both those peotides products, I think worth the expense. I’m hoping CB might have a pre Christmas edit with them.

As JoRaRaRa said, it’s the Medik8 Advanced Peptides and the Exo PDRN serums. I use both in the morning and with my first bottle of the PDRN I also used it at night because I wanted to give it the best chance to work. Once I saw results (and the first bottle ran out) I started only using it in the morning and bought the much much cheaper Medicube PDRN serum to use at night. Not sure if that one does anything much but it can’t hurt and might help.

I used a whole AP and got to the end and thought no difference. Switched to the MZ placenta and haven't missed the AP, maybe you need longer term.
