As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

Oddly it’s in stock on the app. I’m in 2 minds. I really like it apart from the vitamin C which I just can’t use. However, I have sooo much and I really want to try the AB in the LF edit. I’m going mulling it over and hope it goes out of stock on the app to make my decision for me.

Does anyone know how the SNK samples work? Do we a get offered the same options on the app; do they only refresh when the last lot have gone?

I’m patiently waiting for them to update as I can only see one (pretty dull looking 😭) sample.

Also, I no longer seem to get the option to select samples on Sephora - a message briefly pops up saying something like samples unavailable, then nada. Happens even when I put quite a bit in the basket. Anyone else experienced this?

Hoping in not on a list somewhere 😳

I only have one dull sample too but at the moment with SNK I very much feel in the unloved camp so maybe you have to be on a different list to get loyal customer emails and better samples. Not getting an email about the 12 day advent isn’t bothering me one bit! 🙄🙈😂

Sephora flashes up 'sample unavailable' on the app just before checkout for me too.

Will be amazing if I can buy own brand Sephora stuff especially. A lot of the actual brands I can buy in Boots such as Fenty, Mac, etc. but it’s a pain having to drive over an hour to look at actual Sephora stuff.

Wondering whether we can get Sparks rewards with Sephora purchases, but perhaps that might be asking a bit too much? 😂 For certain brands, I've been able to collect both brand loyalty points and Liberty points.

Im also waiting for better samples on SNK before ordering🫣

I ordered the CT powder from SNK on @OvaHere’s recommendation and didn’t get the option to select any samples at all! Which is odd, because I triple checked and was logged in properly. Went back through the check out process a few times but it never came up. I did place the order in the end but am feeling quite irritated (esp because my £5 indulge points just evaporated when I missed their “use by” date!)

All the snazzy Christmas edits are coming in, so I need to be more selective I think. Looking forward to this years revolve ultimate beauty vault as I did want last year’s one. I’m always wowed by a nice proper beauty storage box.

Depends how much you value the box and non-Sunday Riley products, IMHO.

The main draw is the tidal serum at £70. Maria Nila pops up in Liberty beauty drop and the hair gloss is only 50ml - full size is 200ml. I'm not familiar with the Kosas item, but I've heard Kosas products tend to go bad quicker due to it being 'clean beauty.'

I love Sunday Riley, but I'm passing on it as I don't really care for the other products, and the Tidal Serum will probably be in a few other edits soon enough as it's their newest product.

I’m tempted. However, I think this is the serum that’s in the CB BAC and if so that’s £75 towards the advent. I’m waiting for a reduction in the advent so I feel like I need to hold my horses for a bit. I’m quite amazed at the restraint. It might not last a day.

I looked at that. They did a similar one last year with a bag. Ultimately I decided the box wasn't that useful in the circle shape.

Relieved the SNK luxe BAC isn't a straight to checkout must have. Will keep fingers crossed for a discount though as there's some nice bits. It does have the Oribe Gold Lust I wanted but in travel sizes.

There's lots of the Sunday Riley tidal serum on Vinted for about £25 as people sell them off from the BAC

I did buy the LF edit at lunch purely for the AB cream. Possibly a poor decision as I only really wanted that cream. I expect it will turn up in October's Liberty beauty drop now to teach me a lesson about patience. 😂

Tidal has been cheapened by it being in the BAC though, if you’re not adverse to buying on Vinted. I picked up two bottles for £15 each recently!

Wow that's good. I never find the Vinted bargains.
