As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

Ive only used the laneige and it was many years ago when the cica mask first came out as i was really excited for it. It was fine, but nothing special, certainly no better than a million other kbeauty sleep packs. If i can make a recommendation, you need the sulwhasoo overnight ginseng revitalising mask, or the history of whoo gongjinghyang sleep pack. You can get sample/travel sizes of both fairly easily from ebay or reputable online stores if you want to try out before committing to full size! Failing that the cosrx rice mask is pretty nice, although i also used it as a daily mosituriser as its not super heavy!

Do you mean the Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask? I actually have this, I bought a 2-pack at Duty Free when I was travelling in Asia which I completely forgot about! I like the Ginseng Rejuvenating Cream also.

@Donsyb there was a Vinted seller with a user name fairy something or another. Maybe a pro or business seller? Anyway, for some reason Vinted closed their account. They sold at least one type of Cult Beauty edit back in the spring from memory. Brand new, just launched, one of those gift with purchase edits which included a Medik8 much coveted serum. Excellent value, all legit genuine products.
So this fairy now has a WhatsApp group where they sell these deals. The latest looks very good, especially for £13.
I think you have to ask to be added to the group or to get contact details.
It sounds all very contraband situation but actually they are genuine sellers, not stolen goods.

@SheilaFentiman I never get beauty ones. The odd competition and samples. Irritating! I might email them.

No £5 off for me 😞 but I purchased the FAC last night anyway.

I had 3 or 4 months in a row last year where I had £15 off beauty for JL. It was triggered by one initial purchase and then the following months were a single purchase to use the voucher. No idea why it started or why it stopped!

I have no offers of any use today (as usual these days). I have a little FOMO on the FAC but I have half of the perfumes already so my money is better off going to the Selfridges FAC next week.

Edit: checked my account and I made two home purchases in October 2024 for less than £60 total. Then £15 voucher every month from November 2024 to March 2025. Good times!

@branster and @Donsyb - the fairy’s products are genuine, but no one on here actually knows for sure how they are being obtained. The fairy gave an explanation, but there is no way of checking that.

I’m really annoyed - I bought the JL FAC last night only to find that it stacks with a 10% off code JL sent me this morning.

I would try to cancel my original order, but I used a £40 JL voucher that I got as a reward for buying a service from a third party as part-payment and am not convinced I would get that back if I cancelled.

I knew I should have waited until this morning 😿

Actually yes @IlovePond there’s no way of knowing how the kits are obtained.

Thankfully I’m not interested in the JL FAC, quite happy with my Harrods and Boots ones.

I did nearly cave and buy the No7 BAC (the cheaper one) last night as they had £10 off and I had enough points, there is a good range of products and I’d use pretty much all. But then I reminded myself of all the more expensive products that I still have sat in my drawers and realised how silly it would be. Shame as it was a great price.

I also like the look of the White Company calendar, but I want to see Harrods home offerings first

In case anyone else is considering the WA foundation, I'm very impressed with it. SNK delivered it next day and included all the samples, so maybe their customer service is getting back to normal. It's still 20% off, which is pretty rare given it's still new and excluded from most other codes.

I caved and used my vouchers on it yesterday so it was only £22. Unfortunately all the samples were gone.

I found out about it from someone on one of the S&B threads, so passing it forwards!

My Rhode impulse order came today, I got the lip tint in sweet apple and the pocket pearl in monet. I am absolutely blown away by both of them, which is unfortunate for my wallet as I doubt I'll stop at one. The blush is stupidproof, honestly. I am still learning how to use cream blush instead of powder and this is amazing.

I love the Rhode blush. I have four now (Sprinkle, Tan Lines, Teacup and Toasted Teddy), plus all the Pocket Pearls, a bronzer and two Highlight Milk. The Peptide Lip Tint are nice too although not as exceptional as the blush.

I’ll also say Rhode impulse purchases are relatively guilt free for me as I’ve never known Rhode to discount so don’t feel awful paying full price!

That's a special way of looking at it. I shall employ that one in the future. Full price things don't count! 😂
