Well if there’s nothing I want discounted and I really want to buy something they were never going to discount it anyway 😅 Although I did get DP to pick up one or two things when he was in the States as it’s a smidge cheaper there. I need him to go back so he can get some more Crown Affair products for me. Thankfully (for my beauty habit) he works for an American company.

Ooh my Liberty LE box arrived and the bag is the most beautiful thing, oh my word. It’s gorgeous. I’m going into a few hours of meetings and I’m just going to be staring at the Liberty bag!

I picked up Hourglass Liquid Blush in Whim on Vinted as I really wanted to try the liquid blush and I got a good deal because of it being in a BAC, and the applicator is so annoying, it just won’t stop oozing! Definitely put me off anymore regardless of how nice the product is. I Googled and it seems to be a common problem.

Yes, I have three shades and I hate them all. I can't for the life of me remember why I kept buying them (on Vinted cheaply at least). I think the first shade was too bright, then the next was too peachy and the third was too dark. But I hated the format anyway and they were too highly pigmented for me.

There seems to be a real trend for liquid products that are annoyingly hard to dispense (Victoria Beckham foundation, WA drops, these blushes...). Surely they can come up with a better mechanism?

Thanks @PinkArt - I think there’s something in the T&Cs of the reward conditions that says the reward can’t be retrospectively applied, but I might have a go anyway!

I think this one is probably for the bin/ recycling unless by some miracle the colour is amazing on me. At least it was a (relatively) inexpensive mistake!

If you tell them you’re going to return it and then repurchase with the reward sometimes they’ll just save themselves (and you) the hassle and do a partial refund. I don’t have any experience of this with John Lewis, but it’s worked with some other retailers…

@BakeOffRewatch i really like the glow recipe bronzing drops - been using them in preference to the Rodial ones (even though I bought a second LiB set to stockpile the Rodial before discovering these!)

Ooooh my Liberty Founder’s Edit has just arrived, I love it. So heavy! Not sure how to use the Lisa Eldridge Ventura balm will watch her video on it. The perfume is rollerball - not sure if I prefer this or mind it. It’s oil based as well so no
alcohol smell or irritation. At first all I could smell was the bergamot and didn’t like it, but yeah really nice on the dry down. The description is a bit pretentious “Meaning "with love" in French, Avec Amour is best applied wherever you want to be kissed.” As is typical for perfumes https://www.violettefr.com/en-gb/products/avec-amour

Base notes: musky amber, sandalwood, coconut water and vetiver
Middle notes: ylang-ylang
Top notes: bergamot

i love coconut so I do like it. Will be interesting to see how it lasts from morning to evening.

Just discovered the hard way Ebay have auto turned on Inpost and DHL. So you might want to double check.
