@LoveLabradors how do you use the PK? I also have fine straight hair and lots of PK but have never tried. I know some people use it as conditioner, some as pre-wash etc. so how do you use it for your hair? Thank you!

I think I'm going to pass on the Sculpted by Aimee but what does anyone think of the Boots Trending Beauty Box? I have enough points to get it for free, but maybe I don't need it.

@LoveLabradors I think there is something wrong with how they have loaded the deets of it onto the app - you can't click into the product because it says 'not available' or similar but you can add it to basket and check out.

I think it's a nice edit. I like the Money Mist, think I still have another to use up. The scent is nice also. Too many repeats for me but if that wasn't the case I might have got this one.

I have an unexpected update on my Vinted Medik8 woes (in which the buyer claimed it was fake, opened and decanted, aka possibly the final straw which sparked @OvaHere into Facebook action!!)….

They have cancelled the return request!!!

No message, no idea why. Maybe they couldn’t be bothered? I didn’t offer to pay return postage costs, so I wonder if @OvaHere’s point about not making it too easy, by insisting they return it, and have to package and pay for shipping, made them decide it wasn’t worth trying it on after all? Hopefully they won’t leave bad feedback as I’ve been super friendly and polite the whole way through.

Anyway, hopefully case now closed. And phew!!

Great news. I think sometimes insisting on a return is the best way forward. The ones that were just trying to get money off or a free item often can't be bothered with that.

I managed to return the half empty Vinted perfume and am hopefully getting a refund.

Why do people behave like this?

I repurchased the perfume on eBay - this one has also clearly been sprayed at least a couple of times despite the seller claiming it was brand new, but I am keeping it because I am fed up up of the whole thing!

I have restrained myself from buying the Boots Icons but am tempted. I have also abandoned my SK basket.

I keep looking at my horde/stash to remind myself that I can’t buy any more ‘stuff’ until I have made serious inroads into what I have already. (Especially as I have my two DIY a/cs ready for Xmas -plus the S&G one that I keep forgetting!)

I can make an exception for a good a/c, though - it’s not quite the same doing your own, for some reason.

@Fleecy I wet my hair and then leave it under a plastic shower cap with the pk on. I then wash and lightly condition it as usual. My best use of it is on hols as when my hair is wet with sea water I put it on and up in a bun for day and then wash as usual in the evening and it’s the only time my hair has swishy volume! Or I do the same if at a spa. I’ve got lots of very fine hair and it is annoyingly flat! I dream of curls!

I see posts on here about neck cream but I can’t use anything on my neck at the moment apart from aqueous calomine because I have an annoying rash from when the weather was hot. I’ve used steroid cream from the pharmacist which clears it but as soon as we have a warm night it flares up again. I think I have finally got it under control by taking antihistamines morning and evening and hopefully now the nights are cooler it will clear up properly. Really annoying as I like to slaver it with cream or oil to try and ward off turkey neck.

A big thank you to whoever mentioned the revolve code. I think it was @JoRaRaRa The vanity case came today and I’m blown away for £168. The box weighs a tonne. Not everything fitted in the vanity case and the candle, detergent (odd addition but a massive bottle), setting mist and pore cleansing tool were all packaged separately. The case itself is great quality. I’m very impressed by the speedy delivery too. I am now very excited for the advent calendars to arrive. Thank you again.

I went to watch some reviews on the Love palette and sadly I think it will be too dark for me. It's too similar to the Swan palette from last year.

I think it has to be the fair palette or nothing. So maybe if it goes on discount I'll think about it. The fair one is usually the first to sell out so 20% off is likely to be the max on that one. I doubt I'll be able to pick it up as a great bargain.

My Mint’d box arrived and I feel so grown up with the fanciest products I have ever owned (at nearly 50…!). Thank you for the website recommendation and the 40% off code. I am only a teeny bit sad I didn’t send £30-£50 to get a jam packed box… 😉

Yes, I agree it has similar depth as the swan one. If you have some Spacenk or CB credit, you could treat yourself that way 🥰
