As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

Ive ordered the night recover kit and thank to @OvaHere and @JoRaRaRa who are enablers without even trying 😂 I’ve bought the Dragon hourglass Palette and just because the Chantecaille lipstick in Patience .

Im going to blindly stuff it all into my Elle advent. And now I am really excited 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃🙌🏼

On Vinted @DidILeaveTheGasOn it just seeped into my subconscious 😂 I looked at the new ones and couldn’t find the right combo so then deep dived and looked through past palettes and before you know it my hand is on the trigger when it came up on Vinted and I said to myself what would DidILeaveTheGasOn do 😏

As far as I could work out, it’s a bag charm which zips open, but you wouldn’t be able to put more than a few coins or maybe a mini lipstick in it!

Next to it was a Caramel bag charm and also a Milky - all similarly priced and equally desirable.

I couldn’t decide between them so am going to sleep on it 😉

@Doglover73 it’s my first lipstick from Chantecaille , I’m guessing you rate it ? I just can’t find a lipstick that stays on or does anything for me but as I like this brand I thought it would be a good bet 🤷🏻‍♀️

I find Liberty is full of beautiful things, but absolutely guaranteed to make you feel poor!

@IlovePond was it Anya Hindmarsh? I liked her earlier things but she’s gone over quirky now - very popular overseas apparently.

yes those are anya hindmarsh. I always think her stuff looks very well made, but a lot of it is amusing gimmicky things rather than classics, which I am guessing only appeals to people who have a lot of money, so can afford to pay that much for a quirky piece.

In the interest of fairness - things I quite liked at Liberty, but wasn’t going to buy at the prices they were charging:

Le Labo Number 13
The Chantecaille Lion make up range
A massively overpriced pair of Missoma earrings, (Lovisa do similar for about a tenner)
A Missoma bracelet, (ditto)
Bayeux tapestry Liberty print tea towel, tote bag, scarf and cushion - all tacky and overpriced and yet I quite fancied them
An overpriced hand-painted Xmas bauble, (it may well come to this)
A Levi’s cardigan in a lovely material and colour, (if only it hadn’t been the wrong length and size!)
The rhino, (no, not really 😹)

I was in there for ages and visited every department - it’s not looking good for me spending my BD money 🙀
