As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

I like the Micro Caviar Masque.
The cleansers are good - I've tried Japanfusion and Happy Face (gel cleanser).
I like the original Youthbomb Serum. Not tried the new one.
I buy the shampoo and conditioner for my sister as she loves those.
My son likes the Super Healthy Skin body wash.

Also really like the candles and they are good value.

There's not much I haven't liked. The Plantastic cleansing balm made my skin react so I avoid that range.

I probably don't make the best use of my subscription because I have plenty of non Beauty Pie stuff to use. If I can resist the temptation of the renewal gift I should cancel this year but that's not because I don't rate the products - it's a stash problem.

I used this reference last week while discussing my CB BAC with DS 😅
I bought 2 (1 on offer) and needed to return 1, but I couldn’t decide whether I’d be best to return it with the outer box unopened, or whether to open it to check contents as some people mentioned missing products (in which case I’d cite my return reason as missing products rather than ordered in error, but they may just insist on replacing the product. He said I’d be best leaving it unopened, and I said but how would I know if something is missing and it could come back on me.
I spent way too much time stressing over it 🙈😅
I’m suddenly feeling very aware that it’s still sat in the corner, and I’ve probably left it too late to do a return at all now!

Thank you all so much for the replies, I’m going to give them a try. I’ve been sucked in by the offer, I’ll definitely try the caviar masque - that’s what intrigued me in the first instance!

@Thelifeofawife see if you can return it and log the return now. I agree with your son, send it unopened and then you can't be accused of stealing anything. Make sure you send the right order back. Take plenty of photos.
Have you checked the one you're keeping for damages and missing products?

Yes my hair loves it. And thats rare for my hair. 🤣
I wet my hair day before yesterday, put some on, and then put turban towel on then took towel off after half an hour to air dry.
Yesterday morning couldnt be mithered washing so dampened in shower and added a touch more. Perfect curls. And did the same today. I do n3ed to wash at some point. 🤣🤩
I have a lot going on but mainly my hair is long and I air dry it and weather very damp so was being a touch lazy but my hair thanked me. ♥️

I just don’t know how much I trust them to accept that I never opened it. It does have the address label (from being sent to me) over the sellotape on the side of the box though, so thinking if I take a selection of photos showing that, hopefully it’ll be sufficient.
I don’t know how I’d identify which is which though, it’s not clear from the postage label. I’ve tried to match the reference numbers on it with the order numbers from both BACs but they don’t match either of them.
I’ll give myself a kick up the rear tomorrow and get it sorted. I did already request a return but was having issues getting it to work so CS sent me a link - hopefully that will still work 😬

I’ve checked the one I’m keeping and everything is present and accounted for - I checked every item against my spreadsheet to make sure.

If anyone is interested in this I stacked it with code welcome15 for 15% discount and it worked! Had to add some extra items to take it over the threshold but basically got free product with the discount for the original price.

I’ve had this in the past with a look fantastic order, and took photos of the unopened box I was returning just in case - I had the full refund with no issues. Hope you manage to get it sorted ok. 🤞🏽

Is the Beauty Pie ‘deal’ that you pay £59 a year, which then gets you 25% off future purchases? So, basically, you are buying the three full size and two mini products in the offer for £59?

I’m interested in trying out some products but I probably wouldn’t buy anything else from them, so wouldn’t benefit from 25% off future purchases.

I love these Boots Icons sets. They were one of my fave things from last year. I only bought 2 of them last year but really pleased they're doing them again.

I've bought this one. I almost bought the advent to try out some stuff but was good and didn't .

I have also bought it as have also wanted to try the brand and like the shades in this set, I expect it will sell out in a few days as the brand is getting more popular.

Another vote for PK elasticizer here. It makes my fine poker straight hair so lovely, swishy and bouncy almost like the hair I’d like to have! It’s undoubtedly over exposed and everywhere but I’m always happy to get one!

@MrsBnow12 Many thanks for the heads up, I’ve just ordered!! I’ve been reading these threads for some time and had heard mention of Sculpted by Aimee - ended up visiting her London store and being matched for foundation and blush. Staff were friendly & helpful and products easy to use. I’ve paid with my Boots points - again thank you to those who have been recommending the recycling scheme. Reading these threads is a lovely start to my day.

I’m quite tempted to get a second. 🙈🙈🙈🙈 justification: i think that’s the same mascara that I’ve been using. I have no idea where I got it from in the first place and long ago threw away any packaging so I’m not 💯 but the tube is the same shape only bigger (I think mine might be a mini) which I absolutely love. The wand is fantastic and I like to know I’m wearing mascara and this is impactful with no panda eyes. The mascara is £20 ish anyway so the rest of the products cost £15. I need to walk away…… 😬😬😬
