Welcome back everyone to the new thread and hello to any newbies - join us now in time for the autumnal fun. 🍂💄🌂

As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

Some exciting homegrown news -after a few technical hiccups the FB group is now searchable (but private) MN Beauty Chat Swap/Trade/Sell.* *For those interested in the group we have a few joining rules you will be asked to abide by. Thank you @MrsBnow12 @CinderellaParker for your help.

Someone has posted on the Christmas bargains thread that Primark are now stocking Pure Seoul K-beauty products - https://www.primark.com/en-gb/c/beauty/skincare/korean-skincare

I saw Nadine Baggott on insta last night in their store talking about them. I skipped as need nothing and my skin is playing up atm.

Just to mention I tried the prequel cleanser last night on my face as my skin is all over the place. I liked it ♥️and my skin appeared ok with it..
Ive also ordered an spf face base off ilia and got free blush stick and 20% off. Tempted to buy more stuff 🤔😳
Ive used before but wasnt the right shade so going for a warmer one . Fingers crossed x

Doglover73 · 17/09/2026 10:53

I think this is good value for £65.

I’ve placed a good few orders but I’m not interested in the Multi-Sticks, so selling on to go towards the costs of the things I did want 😅 I absolutely love the Lip Sketches and Soft Focus Blush but I have all the shades I want now! 🫣

Has anyone shopped with Mintd before? I have an awful feeling it's a scam. I ordered over £500 worth of products - four edits and a goody bag, totalling 26 products - and I've just had one small-ish box delivered. Mintd customer service are adamant they consolidated the edits into one small box. I'm scared to open it. I paid with credit card so hopefully I'll have some cover there if this is a scam.

Feel daft :(. Off to open a small box...

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 17/09/2026 14:37

Gosh I'm high strung today. Everything is there in the box and looks wonderful, the woman that packed it must be amazing at Tetris.

IlovePond · 17/09/2026 14:44

Glad it arrived safely @DidILeaveTheGasOn - the packers at StyleKorean have similar skills!

I was a monthly subscriber back in 2021/2022 and had no issues with deliveries or their service.

One day, I was WFH and saw the postman come with my monthly MINTD box but I was on a call and couldn't answer. When I went to collect from the delivery office it wasn't there and Royal Mail were no help. There were a few back and forth emails to explain it to MINTD but they did send a replacement.

I also ordered the discounted 2021 advent in 2022. I've not purchased from them since but thats due to their recent prices/offerings not the company itself.

Good lord you gave me a scare ! Thank goodness it’s all there !

Beautyfox · 17/09/2026 15:15

I look forward to your thoughts @DidILeaveTheGasOn i am very tempted by these but I really shouldn’t.

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 17/09/2026 15:48

Sorry @SunnyPinkMoose! I freaked myself out!

@Beautyfox Everything looks gorgeous. I mean, perhaps some of that is because they stuffed the box full of premium skincare when often retailers will send a large box and there's, say, one mascara rolling around forlornly in there. So how could it not look gorgeous? I think it's tremendous value for money. I'm really looking forward to trying all of the products, particularly the Omorovicza thermal cleansing balm, the Medik8 night cream, the Tatcha silk peony eye cream, the MZ Skin daily cream, and the Zelens products as well. I quite like Zelens.

SummerLimes · 17/09/2026 17:31

@DidILeaveTheGasOn ive lost a track a bit (from the will I buy or not, the f it I will). How much did you pay in the end ?

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 17/09/2026 17:37

I paid £304.80 and saved £203. Or, if you happen to know my other half or kids etc, gosh I can’t remember how much I paid but it was a really good deal.

user593 · 17/09/2026 17:41

Just got my Violette FR Bisou Balm in Chocolate and it’s divine! Straight to the top of my all time favourites list. Reminds me of one of my other favourites, Merit Maxwell, but maybe a bit less berry coloured and thankfully not limited edition. I’ll have to do a comparison. So happy (even though I could in no way justify another lipstick).

I’ll say it was £30.40

That made me laugh, sounds good to me!

TK Maxx have the Elemis Superfood Midnight facial cream 50ml for £24.99 if anyone likes it. I loved the cream but the fragrance was too strong for me last year.

I bought this box the other week and it arrived today, was considering buying another and noticed the price has gone down from £88 to £62 🫠 think thats a really good deal for the products! Ive not tried zelens before but excited to try, and i wanted some new collagen too. Will use pretty much everything else like hand cream, lip balm, blush etc, and the hair products look good for me also. Worth considering i think!

I have never had a problem with Mint. Exceptional quality and service. Even the packaging is very neat and of good quality. They have excellent offers a couple of times a year, but it means spending around £300-£400 in a go to qualify for all the offers. But, but, but … you save a lot and, most importantly, all very good quality and nice products to use. No gimmicky fillers. No flimsy boxes.
I must have about 10 of their neoprene wash bags (I don’t know if they still have these available). They are very spacious and last forever, sturdy but flexible and soft. And they look nice! The leather look drawstring bags also brilliant quality. If they get such details right, I can’t find any reason not to like them. You don’t appreciate the quality of an accessory until you use a good one.

Branster · 17/09/2026 20:30

@DidILeaveTheGasOnha ha. I’m on the 30-50 mark depending on how big the delivery box is. Regardless of how much I actually paid. I wish there were more options to collect from the post office or InPost lockers.

BadgerFace · 17/09/2026 20:31

I’ve gone from excitement to worry to back to excitement catching up on today’s thread as my Mint’d delivery is coming tomorrow… 😂

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 17/09/2026 20:55

I’m sorry @BadgerFace! Maybe next time I become fiendishly suspicious of a box’s contents, or lack thereof, I should open said box before panicking. Schrödinger‘s skincare!
Am I right in assuming your order also cost somewhere in the 30-50 range?

Twinsandsome · 17/09/2026 20:59

I can’t remember if it was this thread or the advent ones but people were talking about the PK and I decided after discounting it for years as a filler product to actually use it. I dampened my hair over the sink and brushed some through and wrapped into a bun for about an hour or two before washing
my hair and oh my goodness why have I never used this stuff sooner! My hair (bleached long) is so soft and MIL asked if I had done something different to my hair to which I said no just washed it and she was like it looks great there is something different. The only other thing I have changed is now using money mist as my heat protection but this combination really has done wonders for my hair long may it last xx

Hi all, are there any BeautyPie fans here? They’re doing a selection of 3 full size products and 2 minis with a full year subscription for £59. Have never used them before, do you have any recommendations?

I love beautypie! Depends if youre more into skincare, makeup or fragrance really?

I really like their under eye concealer (in a pot, called luminous something i think), their highlighter wand thing, and their retinol overnight mask. Ive got some bits from them in the stash to try, but pretty much everything from them ive liked a lot. Oh and their fig leaf perfume is so nice!
