I am not even kidding myself and know I will be hitting that buy button as soon as Sephora launches.
I am still on the fence re Space, I go away over the weekend for two weeks so if it releases late in the week I may be able to convince myself to wait until I am back and it may sell out in those two weeks.
I do not need either of these, or any of the others I have ordered but am looking forward to putting my own advent together in October.

@Benny12 did you say you can put AC’s in hand baggage? I thought the volumes of liquids/perfumes would be problematic and that they’d want to open everything. Is this not the case? I’m looking at cheap day returns on Ryanair!

Yes. I have been waiting for this particular beauty-calendar hydra to sprout another three heads. 😂
And these are actually an interesting trio because they are not three versions of the same thing. Having gone through the currently published 2026 contents, my initial ranking for you is:
🥇 Selfridges
🥈 Sephora
🥉 Space NK
But there is an important wrinkle: Space NK is arguably the most objectively luxurious calendar, while Selfridges is the one I think makes most sense for your existing stash.
You already have Fortnum & Mason and Harrods, plus the Face the Future boxes and the ELLE calendar. So I'm judging these as incremental purchases, not pretending you have an empty bathroom cabinet waiting hopefully for 35 serums.

I have a feeling they’re going to be released on the same day and I’ll have to do a split second decision. I don’t know why I’m driving myself crazy with this, I’d realistically be happy with either. I just can’t decide between the functionality of Space NK compared with the genuine treat feeling of Sephora. Also my ChatGPT is no help! She gets uppity if I ask her about Sephora. She has decided that Space NK is the better option for me and my protests just make her more resolute!

I've googled this and there's no restrictions on Dublin's side so it is a possibility. If you're going to go though, you're better off flying with aer Lingus as you can have a bigger carry on case.

I spoke to parcel flow yesterday and they said we can send perfume through them and have transported BT BACs and other orders via NI to GB before. From what he was saying, it doesn't sound like combining them would be worthwhile as there would potentially be storage fees say if one person's AC took a while to be dispatched, plus then handling fees to split them up once they're in the England, but I've asked emailed him to confirm that this is what he's saying. But it's actually not as much as we thought and he says it'll probably be £10-15 to ship. BT charge £5.95 for shipments to NI. I think we should budget more just in case it's heavy with all those perfumes in glass bottles.

@DidILeaveTheGasOn I think you need to confess to Mildred. She's in a good mood, I think she could take it. Then ask her if it changes her opinion 🤣

@Itsablondebobkindaday I used to have the same issue, always feeling like I had to be the sensible one, then I found these threads 😅 The way I justify it is, buy the ACs / edits that I want, and sell off any bits I’m not too fussed about.
So in your shoes, I’d buy both SNK and Sephora and then sell off some bits to recoup some money and condense my favourite bits into one calendar that I love (it’s highly likely that I will do exactly this despite already having 2 BACs 😁)

I don’t know whether to be pleased or annoyed that Harrods take BL - if only in store and in secret! When I think of the money I spent there last Xmas and at H Carnival 🙀

I'm wondering what the point in pre ordering Harrods was since mine is still processing! For a world renowned store, they really do f it up every year!

Thanks for posting this, its the list I saw a while ago and is an easy decision for me.

I love how we're all BAC enthusiasts but within the group have quite different tastes. Harrods, Selfridges and SNK BACs have not piqued my interest at all but now I feel ready to join in the fun with Sephora!

The colour of the Hauslabs lip product and Kosas highlighter are not for me but otherwise I love the look of all the makeup. Skincare has plenty of new items for me to try and a couple of favourites. Perfumes are all new to me except SDJ which is the first 2026 advent so far to achieve this!
I generally ignore haircare products when looking at BACs. They don't excite me at all tbh and are never a deciding factor.

I'm very much looking forward to this and will be doing the "proper" daily opening of drawers in December.

So after boring dp for god knows how many days in a row he’s finally snapped and announced that if all this comes down to a ‘bloody candle’ he will buy me said ‘bloody candle’ to get me to shut up. He’s been sent off with the strict instruction of Replica by the fireplace. He does not need to know that wasn’t the candle in question😂

@Addictedtobeauty depends on the airport you fly from …i flew from T5 and brought a liberty calendar in my hand luggage on Ba (it was under 10kg ) and fitted perfectly into the suitcase …the rules at t5 allow you to take through liquids up to 2litres per item and you dont need to take them out of your case

@Addictedtobeauty I also checked in a bag on my trip last week that had the fenwicks BAC in it …it was fine too …these were for my sister but beginning to feel like a BAC mule !
