If Boots skincare, luxe or Rituals are reduced at some point, (as happened last year), I might be tempted by one of those. I wouldn’t pay full price for any of them.

My favourite is still Harrods, but I am wobbling on Selfridges, (having totally dismissed it but then impressed by MissBoux’s unboxing!)

However, my friend thinks it’s appalling that I am even considering buying an a/c given how much stuff I already have - she is not giving me any credit for my willpower in holding out so far.

If Harrods do a 10% Rewards next week, I might crack then!

I definitely saw a full Sephora list at some point and decided I wanted it. Not sure where it went or why but if its confirmed I'll be buying it. I am also eagerly awaiting the Selfridges FAC.

Also, keen to see SpaceNKs FAC if they're doing one this year. I've given up on both HNs but could be a nice surprise there.

Resisted the CB offer because I bought in 2024 and 2025 when discounted and slightly regretted it both times. Only took 3 years for me to learn 😊

My John Lewis calendar arrived today. It’s not as impressive as Selfridges and has lots of small sizes, but still has lots to use. I went shopping today with my daughter and we tried lots of the products from our upcoming advents. Also went inside a SpaceNK shop for the first time ever! I also want the SNK calendar now but let’s be honest, 6 is enough!

I would love to buy the Korean Skincare Tidal Glow AC. I bought the Korean Skincare Sylvan Glow last year and the calendar itself was so beautiful, taking you on a magical journey through the enchanted woodland. But I have so much Korean skincare and make-up that I really can’t justify it. 😢

This may well stop me buying the BAC online ever again! Which one are you in? My nearest is Thurrock.

I signed up for early access on that one last night @AppleDumplingWithCustard. I'm not sure why as to my uneducated brain, Korean skincare seems to be fragrance free and great for dry, sensitive skin. I have combination skin and like fragrance! Might have lost the plot a bit with bacs.

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon trying to justify the cost of the luxury edition (£450!), but then looked at Niche Beauty's Trustpilot reviews (they're not good) and talked myself out of buying it - not that I could really afford to buy it anyway!!

For those who have bought the Harrods BAC... how does it work with the shipping. Do you get notified ehen shipped and can you then select a pick up point through the shipping company or is it a total crapshoot and when not at home 2x they return it?

Ooh just seen Niche is finally revealed. At first glance I don't like it as much as last year. A few crossovers with other AC and some stuff I already have. Maybe I can avoid being obsessed with it this year.

I have been lurking in the hopes someone could settle the Space NK vs Sephora debate. Usually there’s a clear winner for me but this year I can’t decide between these two. I really like that Sephora has a good sized candle and a palette that looks full of lovely neutral shades. On Space NK’s side that hourglass blush looks gorgeous, I really want to try good genes and the skin care is a bit more up my street. They both have the k18 products that I use so that cancels itself out. I prefer the look of the Kayali perfume in Sephora over any of the fragrances in Space NK. Space NK hands down wins on box design though!

I cannot buy both even though dp has whole heartedly agreed I could have both… I fear it’s a trap. I know there’s Pokemon cards being released and he plans on spending stupid money on them. He thinks if I fall into the trap of spending similar on myself I won’t be able to complain about the half a rainforest of card coming my way. I know his plan, I will remain one step ahead as always 😁

Well you have said that the makeup in CB and Harrods isn't really for you, so I think it's fine to get the Sephora for the makeup stuff and the candle and all the extras make it worthwhile 😉
