I said the same to my mum . She retired last year at 82 ( only because she was made redundant ) . She said she won’t need much perfume now that she’s not working and said just enjoy it for yourself even at home. Turns out she is out way more than me with one friend or another anyway. I always have a spritz of perfume even at home. It gives me a little lift .

@TragicMuse - probably because Liberty were trying to go to avoid a deluge of questions/complaints about why the Sisleya also only cost them £5!

Btw: If you want to see if you can retrieve the price, gentle application of nail varnish remover will often lift off Sharpie or other black markers from things!

Years of practice removing graffiti from desks, walls, posters, etc. @nearly61 😹😹😹

Companies seem to have made nail varnish less effective aka less toxic? 😹 in recent years as it’s not as effective as the ‘good’ stuff used to be, but it’s still always worth a shot!

Just to jump in on the sharpie cleaning, cheap hairspray is also good for removing it.

Did anyone get the K beauty advent calendar from PureSeoul this morning? It sold out in like 2 minutes. I managed to bag one, which surprised me as I never usually manage to get anything when it’s popular 🤣. It was £149 and worth over £500. I wasn’t going to get anything as I have really bad cystic acne and everything breaks me out, and it is so sore.

I tried Augustinus Bader the ‘rich cream’ as a ‘treat’ on Monday night post my bath as I’d heard some good things about it, woke up with a spot in the corner of my lip on the skin side but it was so big underneath it had infiltrated my lip and I literally looked like I’d had half of my lip over done with filler on Tuesday morning when I woke up. I had to ask my boss if I could work from home and her response to the photo was ‘fuck me do you need a&e?’

anyway! A friend went to Korea and I got given some lovely skin care for not killing her plants and I haven’t broken out once! So I went for it!

General sale is at 10am, is anyone else going to go for it ?

that really is it now. I’ve got that one and the Diptyque one which is a birthday gift but is such poor value for money 🤣 the candles are diddly. I’ll use it to see what smells I like most and maybe buy bigger ones if I like them.

Has anyone heard anything at all about the Harrods home fragrance calendar. Other than the snippet in their magazine I’ve seen nothing .
