I hate this manicure

I really hate this manicure. It's builder gel, I go every 2-3 weeks. It's so thick and lumpy. I did ask for extra short. I have been going here at least 15 years, same woman. I really like her, should I say something?

hope you can get back there today. I wouldn’t be going back to her. Everyone has bad days but she really shouldn’t have let you leave like that!!!

Just tell her. If they are not supposed to be like that (I'm clueless about nails!) she should be apologetic and understanding. If they are supposed to be like that (I'm clueless, remember?) she'll just know that it's not your sort of thing and won't do it again.

Why wouldn't you just message her and say they've gone wrong?

They're not supposed to look anything like that. I have builder gel and it just looks like highly polished nail varnish. I don't know why the OP doesn't just contact her nail woman.

Was she in a rush? It looks like she couldn't be bothered to do them properly to save time.

Get her to remove them and then never let her to do your nails again. She was happy for you to walk out of the salon with nails like that. Doesn't matter how nice she is - she is not good at her job.

I hope you get the money you paid for this manicure returned as well.

You HAVE to get a refund (and hopefully an apology) and please don’t ever go back. It’s a jack of all trades type person and she should be avoided. Nobody can be good at all these things she offers at the same time. Don’t underestimate what I’m saying - no normal person would accept payment for that or let you walk out

I think thats the worst nail job i've ever seen! There's no way people are routinely paying for that, its ridiculous.

Just had builder gel nails. They last 5 weeks. I’d ask her to redo yours and then find someone else!!

They look like mine when I tried to do it in lockdown - like they’d been done by a chimp wearing oven gloves.
