I hate this manicure

I really hate this manicure. It's builder gel, I go every 2-3 weeks. It's so thick and lumpy. I did ask for extra short. I have been going here at least 15 years, same woman. I really like her, should I say something?

Get them removed, get a lamp and do your own nails OP .. I had disasters like this so do my own gel so much easier and cheaper

As a PP asked- is it the first time she’s done BIAB for you? Where I go only some staff can do it as they have to be specially trained etc.

Yes, go somewhere and get it removed. Sometimes nail people will say they won’t infill someone else’s work but they will remove it. Is your nail person new to builder gel maybe? Even so there is no way she should have left you with this.

Often salons will not remove other technicians work as they cant be sure of what products have been used on you.

She's got more than fifteen years experience and she's let you walk out with your nails looking like that! What did you say when she'd finished and asked if you were pleased with them? Were you both being dazzled by bright lights? They're not good at all, I'm hoping this post isn't real.

They don’t look good at all. Is it worth you messaging her with a pic and saying something like “hey lovely, think there’s something wrong with your gels, these have cured really weirdly - not our usual fab standards. Any chance you can fix asap please?!”

They are bad. For context I had one of those home kits and I cocked it up (big lumpy nails) and my kids immediately asked what the hell I’d done to my fingers and I immediately got a ton of acetone to try and soak them off. Yours are worse.
