I got mine today. Well it’s my husband’s, but since my face will be right next to each drawer as he opens it, watching for his reaction, we’re essentially sharing it.

I really like it. It feels like a swanky 60s apothecary chest. I might get him a silk paisley dressing gown and some leather slippers to wear whilst he opens it.

I agree, the socks are humongous! But it’s a positive for me as I was worried a medium would be too small for him.

Would have loved a green dust bag to go with it.

I bought a 5ml sample of it to test a few weeks back. I need to try it again. The top note does have a fleeting smell of sour milk but then settles into a fairly pleasant creamy oud. I wasn't wowed though. I've got a couple of other BTSO I prefer.

@JoRaRaRa despite never having considered buying an advent calendar before this year, I’ve fallen head over heels in love lust with BT. Please share your findings, as I’m totally up for shipping it via courier if we can find one that can transport perfumes.

Urgh, me too. I tried live chat today and got the same response "I've resent it, check your spam". I pointed out that was the fifth time it had allegedly been resent, and was told it couldn't be escalated for 24 hours, despite the fact I ordered it around 8am on Thursday. And no, they can't send it to a different email address, or just give me the card number to type in. I'm close to giving up and boycotting CB...

Not sure if it’s this thread, of if I’m just really easily influenced, but as well as wanting just about every advent calendar going, my scalp has started itching. I’m not even making it up. Where is everyone getting this CR scrub from?!

I've heard a few people say it smells of off milk. Maybe it's one for more winter time. I'm thinking it might be good for those days when you want to feel cosy and curl up on the sofa with a film 🤞🏻

I will do. I think that you can collaborate your shipments too, so we could possibly do that? I think it just means that they use the same courier for both, so if one arrives to the storage unit first, the other order will wait and then all travel over together. I'll try to phone them tomorrow to find out more.

It’s beginning to look that way. With the HN takeover the advents from there have disappeared too. I was hoping for a decent frag cracker from Flannels and FAC from HN but it seems unlikely now

I had a notification this morning that CB order was due to be delivered today by Royal Mail. No one was going to be in so I rescheduled for tomorrow, but they tried to deliver today anyway and are now saying the will attempt again next working day (Monday) - so annoying. The second courier in 2 days to allow me to change my delivery date but still try to deliver on the original day/time 🙄

Re the CR scalp scrub. I’ve had 2 pots of this in the past and sold them thinking “what nonsense is this?!” But as I got another in a recent edit (I think from Fairy) I decided to try it and I actually really liked it 😅

Eyelash curlers, I’ve got a couple from LF mystery edits if anyone still needs some.

I also retrieved my JL BAC from last year and have decided I’m going to open this month. All this talk of stuff going off quickly has really made me think - especially as I feel like my AB serum from last year smells a bit funny/biscuity (I’m still using it though 😅)

PureSeoul is dissapointing imo. Waiting to see YesStyle and StyleKorean, but to be fair I’m in SE Asia and I can pick things up easily here. Almost all of my skincare is K/J beauty already. So thinking I should get a more luxurious one with brands I can’t get here. Eagerly waiting OMC..

And we will get sorted too! Too much restrictions and fees to shipping to Ireland. The rest of Europe is not a negatively impacted but we are. I didn't care for shipping from Shane - I just dont but so much of what I want to buy either is UK brands or UK sellers

I am not that keen on Brown Thomas, but I will wait for full details. It's 400 euro! I am lusting after obscenely expensive LV perfume and another 100 will buy me a dream item. Le Labo 33, in 2026 - really? I will wait for the full content before deciding but not running head over hills for now

Full contents (although not sizes) are on Beauty Detective. It’s more skincare/haorcare/perfume mix than just perfume and I know perfume is your thing.
