I think that's a sensible decision 🤭 There doesn't seem to be any that I think is perfect. All of them seem to be missing something. I think Harrods would be better if they had a full size night cream, a different cleanser (I don't know why they include the same one 2 years in a row) and a different product from bioeffect, as the egf serum has been included quite a few times now. I think more luxury haircare products should've been included, same with makeup but I guess they put all the value into the skincare. I do like the idea of the cle de peau primer though 🥰

My Harrods FAC has just arrived and despite saying yesterday that only one was coming, both have arrived 😵‍💫 now do I just rip it open? 🤭

I liked the Harrods BAC even more in person when I saw it this morning at Heathrow Terminal 5 departures. They aren’t duty free sadly.

12-day version looks nicer in person IMO, but I hate the PK Elasticizer (does anyone like this stuff??) and the Sol de J spray!! They bring down the value, I think!

You’re probably on your flight now, but if not - do you happen to know if you can pre-order a calendar to collect at airport departures? I know they do have that option, but no idea if applies to the advents.

Boots FAC is actually really nice. It's reasonably priced and very wearable fragrances, perfect for travel as well

Ive not bought any yet. 😀
Just not enough I want in any to justify the hefty price tags. I have a big stash and a lot of stuff is repeated so being good unless some get reduced.

OK everyone having talked myself into the JLP calendar it is out of stock for pre-orders – and the message was that it would be available to buy from today – no time given. But it's just listing now as OOS.

Anyone got any intel? Anyone ordered it or planning to order it? Shall I not bother? I am really only buying it for the Foreo and bc it is £35 less than Liberty/£20 less than Harrods. There are DoD for me notably nail polish but as a counter to that, a huge number of items (some tiny for sure).

Arrrgh. I mean if it is not going to be in stock at all I will just buy Liberty and make peace with the extra ££ by reminding myself that I can sell the box for at least £20 (other ones only sell for about £5 IME).

I’m now considering Liberty as well as I have enough to buy outright and there are a few things ( Mz eye cream, Sisley, make up) that I’d like. It’s the perfumes for me which really put me off but I did ok selling those last year. I really shouldn’t as was supposed to start a contracting role yesterday but the piece I was due to work in not signed off so only have 2 days work atm 🫣

Harrods’ BAC just arrived! It’s such a shame Sephora weren’t more on it with the reveal of theirs. I think they’ve really missed a trick because people have panic-bought others in case they sold out (including me 😂). If they’d revealed theirs earlier, I might have gone for theirs instead!
However I am so excited for the 1st December now.

I was debating between Sephora and Harrods but I don't want to wait until next week and tbh it's only the palette and the candle I would like from Sephora. I do like Sephora (based on the leaked reveal) but there's a lot of bitty stuff like lip balms I can def live without.

I agree! I feel like Sephora have bulked theirs out with cleansers, setting sprays body sprays and shower gels, all of which I probably wouldn’t use. Same as space nk, I looked at the Harrods one and, apart from the lipsticks (which I could gift), I’ll actually use everything in it. Then when someone on this thread said Harrods had sold out, I was gutted 😂 So as soon as it came back in stock, I quickly bought it!
Is it weird that it’s now sat next to me and I’ve literally just stroked it like a bloody dog?! I’m far too excited about it. I really need to get a grip 🤣

My Harrods BAC and FAC are arriving today between 9&10. We fly home today so I won’t be in. Don’t trust my son to answer the door in time so have arranged for them to be sent to my parent’s house. Exciting! 😁

I just read that YSL launches on the 10th. Wondering if it has been a good buy previously? Was thinking with the view of gifting largely and using some. Do they discount during Black Friday.

I’ve no idea where my CB order is up to, it was supposed to be next day delivery but no update as yet.
My Harrods orders are due today, which I thought great as DH is off, but then he informed me last night that he’s out for a chunk of the day, so it’s whether they happen to deliver while he’s in 🙈
