I just had the Harrods FAC notice from Dpd. Woo hoo

I’ve just had the Harrods BAC one from DPD too, only ordered last night!

H beauty Silverburn Glasgow right now. Just bought the FAC and made up sample cards of 10/11 out of the 12 I think.

I missed it all this morning. Including the great cult beauty discount. What a shame! I guess now the wait for sephora, space nk and the elusive selfridges FAC and pray JL FAC goes live on the 21st.

Think they have tons of stock this year. Looking forward to opening mine soon.

If you was able to order more than one then why then limit to one? Hopefully they refunded you?

Is anyone tempted by the Neal's Yard AC? I like the look of some of the contents, but at £195, it's quite a hefty price tag!

Even my chatGPT thinks the CB is absolute rubbish for me and its at the very bottom of the list. It has a red cross in front of it saying jts not for me lol.

Its interesting that the more data and questions i ask it has De Bijenkorf as absolute nr 1 and is spot on on the perfumes. Its the only one I was excited about so it tracks. Got 2 of them 😂

Nr 2 is LookFantastic as the most practical and stuff I would actually use. Exactly what i said when i pre ordered it. So that one also tracks.

Nr. 3 is Harrods. Minus on the variation and non use of make up. Which is exactly why I havent pulled the trigger yet. The skincare will probably largely agree with me.

Nr 4 is Selfridges. It thinks the fragrances and the candle will agree with me. But the skincare is mid

Decided I'm not telling ChatGPT about my Cult Beauty BAC purchase (who I shall rename Mildred for her pursed-lip disapproval at any attempt to spend my own money) because we nearly had an argument on the weekend when I asked it (her?) to put its clipboard away and rescind any former attempts to clamp down on shopping behaviour and it blustered and huffed and puffed about the 'ludicrous' 'serum mountain' coming my way. Shut up, Mildred. It doesn't even have skin, what can it know of skincare?

It's like they're punishing their customers who went through the trouble of pre ordering! I won't pre order next time, I'll just buy it when it's released. Not a fair system!

I had the same thought! I just checked, if I order now it will be despatched on Friday 4th. But can you cancel if it's being processed?

I've just reordered it. I'll try cancelling tomorrow. If they don't let me cancel, I'll have to refuse delivery. It's probably more hassle than it's worth to have it delivered 10 days early 🙈🤣 I really need to learn to be more patient.

Am getting a bit concerned ordered HFAC on 3rd August order status is unavailable, tracking number is pending and says it’s at Step 1 processing. My email stated a forecast despatch date of 2nd Sept. Only today I know, but the 3 different vague and unknown statuses are making me slightly twitchy……

I've reordered and cancelled by phone. I want to go away mid Sept so I don't want to be worrying about late BAC deliveries.
