Adding the leaked Sephora screenshots again to this thread for comparison as we've not yet had the official reveal. Thanks @ElizabethG81 for the originals on the last thread.

I did see that the Selfridges email mentioned the beauty calendar wasn't alone and fragrance fans to stay tuned. Does that mean they're launching both at the same time? The site will crash 🙈

I've got a busy work day on site on the 1st Sep so if they release the FAC that day I doubt I'll manage to get one.

I've already decided if it's in the £300 plus range I'm noping out but if it's £250 or under I would probably try.

@OvaHere I wish they'd let us know how much it is. I don't understand why they withhold that information for so long after releasing the contents. It could be a big outlay to not have much time to decide over.

Agree. The wording from the email is The countdown is on. This year’s beauty advent calendar launches 1 September. And it’s not alone – fragrance fans, stay tuned.

Does 'stay tuned' mean it's coming a bit later. Clear as mud.

If it's going to more than the BAC in price I need time to think it over.

I hope we get few releases next week. I am changing my mind for Space Nk!

Is Harvey Nichol's happening I wonder?

@Doglover73 Sorry to hear about your mum 💐 You are so right about the hospices. My dad past 2 years ago this December. The hospice were amazing and I sent them a massive box of tea/coffee/biscuits for their stash for the families and staff.

They announced both advents before the buyout so I assume they already exist ready to be sold. If products haven't been delivered and already paid for it might be an issue - we did only get an image of the packaging. I think it's 50/50 at the moment whether they materialise.

I am so behind 🤦‍♀️ last year I kept up I’ve no chance. I would like a Korean skin care calendar. Last year I had neom. All beauty 12 days of Christmas. For the new year the m and s one. I enjoyed having one to open for 2 months 😀

If they have produced them then they'll be sold somewhere at some point I would think? Otherwise it will be a very sad day in the AC world if they are sitting lonely in some dusty warehouse.

Omg goodness ladies , my very first Liberty calendar has arrived and I am beyond thrilled. I love the perfumes although a couple air towards masculine but I’ve a friend who can have those . The make up is great colours for me and a lovely mix of products. Beautifully presented . I am so happy .

I had almost decided to sack it off completely this year and not bother after a fact finding mission checking out testers in Selfridges was pretty underwhelming. I also sat down with the list of contents and working out that if I was ruthless there were only really two or three things I actually wanted (and I don't need any of them).

Then I looked at the Elle one again and I think I'm going to sit it out and see if it gets marked down - if it doesn't I won't mind, but if it does I'll go for it. In the meantime I bought some rose gold jewellery I've wanted for ages and had a lovely trip to Ormonde Jayne to pick up a taster box and chat about their perfumes - unfortunately now I want all of them 😖😂

It was only a matter of time before I bought it and today I just needed that hit 🤣

I've gone back and looked at the Selfridges BAC again and decided it's definitely the one for me. I think I'd use everything in it and am excited for the SDJ as I've somehow never tried any of it before and that's the one thing of theirs I wanted to try. I've also been meaning to buy a body brush for ages and like the look of all the fragrances and make up. Im relieved I've finally made a decision!

I think I have now ruled out Space NK despite being so excited and loving it last year! I really dislike that Naturium shower gel, would much rather have had the Space NK Nordic bubble bath in a bigger size. And too many lip products, PK, Byoma and the dreaded SDJ. I was hoping for Chantecaille, Laura Mercier, Lisa Eldridge gloss or eyeshadow, full size Tatcha, Replica or Diptyque - all products they stock. Such a boring offering.

So I've had a full look through BD website and think I've narrowed down to Elle (this is a surprise for me!), Vogue or Sephora and waiting on CB reveal. I want a nice selection of skin care, make up and some hair/body stuff. I am not a fan of different fragrances (I stick to the 3-4 I know I like) so rules out Liberty and all the FACs.

Cautiously optimistic that I might have talked myself out of the Cult Beauty BAC. I only really want the Sunday Riley tidal serum. The presence of an essence from The Ordinary (an essence, which to me is not even a real skincare product but happy to be educated otherwise) in a BAC irritates me. If it was going to be anything it could at least be the self-propagating glycolic toner.
I do like the idea of the Allies of skin product but don’t really need it.
Think I can mark myself safe from that one.
Still thinking about the Boots scent one and the Elle one.

I've jumped and bought Harrods BAC. I was undecided but I absolutely love the AB Eye cream and the EGF Serum and the value of those two alone has me convinced adn im out of both. Add that to Liberty and Harrods FAC and I feel I am more than covered for fragrance and skincare. I feel like I would enjoy one in the <200 price range with a bit more makeup so I'm waiting patiently for GB to see if that does the trick. I'm feeling incredibly grateful and happy to be receiving such lovely advents and considering ive spend £500 of 'real' money and with a 'total value' of over 4k, my girl maths brain is fully satiated 🤣🤣

@Doglover73 , I'm sorry to hear about your mum. My DBrother passed away in a hospice a few years ago. The staff were amazing, both with my DB, and us as a family. Nothing was too much and they provided a supportive, calm and peaceful environment, which helped as we stayed with him until the end. I think i will also donate dome of my stash to the local hospice.

@JoRaRaRa and @RainbowZebraWarrior I'm sorry you're both going through worrying times too. I hope all goes well for your dads 🧡
