@pinkchampagne1 yeah, I received the Harrods FAC at the end of August last year too. I need to keep an eye on my old email inbox now for the dispatch email 👀 I guess having to wait for the BAC serves me right for not committing earlier 🤣

@26inprogress In the cult beauty ac, apart from the Patrick ta blush and the hourglass lipstick, the makeup isn't too ott. I'm not sure two blushers are needed though. Same as I'm not sure Harrods needs 3 lip products 🙄

I can't believe I didn't know about this thread until yesterday. I have been a devoted BAC and FAC collector, bordering on addiction.
Thank you for starting this thread and also a big thank you to those who mentioned the Reome damage in the Liberty calendar. I would have not opened it otherwise and it may have probably been too late to complain.
I have sent my complaint and waiting to see what they do next. Do they just offer a replacement or do they offer money off as well. I would be keen on some money off as it's not really a product I would use and I would rather buy something I can.

I've had a look at the Lookfantastic advent Glossybox and ASOS and might go with ASOS if I can get it with a discount. If not then I'm happy enough to leave it. I had already ordered the Harrods fragrance calendar and dh has ordered me their beauty one for my birthday. I am wanting to order Sephora. I'm still on the fence re cult beauty as the skincare does appeal but overall the makeup doesn't. I'm considering holding back on that one and getting a Korean advent calendar if I can find one that leans more heavily towards skincare.

Has anyone looked at calendars for men? I'm wanting to get dh one this year but so far haven't seen any reveals for grooming calendars.

Been toying with the idea of getting a fourth (and final?) BAC in the form of the Space NK. I asked ChatGPT and the arsing bastard actually suggested I’d have a ‘ludicrous’ amount of products for 2027, the audacity. And then it suggested I should stop buying BACs!

Yes there will be LF grooming calendar, looks very decent and includes 100 ml fragrance. Will be getting it for DH, it will be his first BAC, how exciting 😀

Hey everyone. My Liberty BAC arrived and not only was the Reome leaking but the advent calendar box was dented. Would you ask for a replacement empty box? I keep them and store my beauty products in them so was a little disappointed.

Also, as a fyi, I was in Fenwick's yesterday and asked about the BAC. Apparently there was a misprint so everything was pulled for this to be changed.

Re: Leaking Reome and/or dented box

Definitely contact Liberty CS and politely express your disappointment and ask what they can do to rectify matters.

Be aware: CS have been sending out replacement Reome bottles with £5 stickers on 🙀 which then needs a follow up email asking what the hell?

Hi @Annamarieboo - they will probably respond in writing, particularly if you tell them about your damaged box as well.

You get further with them if you send lots of pictures with your email.

Its a real shame about the Reome bottles leaking. Last year I had Liberty, it was my first time joining a daily advent opening thread and so many people on there kept the contents a total surprise.
I feel for all the people who might find an issue on Christmas Eve; I'd hope Liberty might be proactive to reslove it before then but I doubt that.

Thank you @IlovePond I have reached out to them on watsapp as I got my delivery late last night and they have promised to look into it and respond in 24 hours. How frustrating! I cannot believe they send bottles with stickers!

@TreesinthePark I agree - I set up the Liberty thread last year and was amazed by how many people had bought it without checking/knowing what was in the calendar!

Paying nearly £300 to find that the - apparently very cheap - product in Day 24 has leaked/damaged other stuff too, is absolutely not on.

You’d have thought they would have learned after last year’s faulty Jones Road mascara and the - allegedly - dodgy old/new/faulty lip product that gave me and others quite severe allergic reactions - but no!

I am very disappointed with Liberty all round this year!
