Elemis rose products also don't agree with me but I think it's rose that's the issue as the standard marine cream is a staple for me. I also didn't get on with the toning mist in the clear bottle, which I was excited to try when it was launched (about a year ago?). I think it must have some sort of strong ingredient in it. But their soothing apricot toner is great. Same with cleanser - I use the original marine cleanser every day and was excited to try the new foam cleanser but hated it.

Overall with Elemis I've learnt that their classic stuff is great and mild (the only brand I could use during chemo), but a lot of the newer stuff just doesn't work for my skin.

Harrods Home Fragrance. I’d definitely be interested in this one , another one to add to the list , sighs ….

I was told to avoid the rose products as I have sensitive skin, rosacea and get cystic acne (although not had a flare up this year 😊).

I've not tried the toners, I have one of the new spray ones in my stash and now I'm wondering if I should get rid.

The Elemis Pro-Collagen night cream that's in the LF calendar is really nice though.

Ive just bought Glossybox. For me its the best of those around the £100 mark. Ive gone through the contents of LF and ASOS and nothing really excites me, ditto with the OK reveals. Theres only 2 DOD in the Glossybox for me which I think is pretty good and I really like the Commodity Orchid. I got 6% cashback via quidco and another £5 off with KAREN5 if anyone else is buying. Hoping now that people buying Harrods and Elle will be selling their Bioeffect as ive used it before and love it.

If anyone is looking for a teen advent Ive just bought the 17 one from Boots. It was reduced to £26 then another 10% reduction site wide so got it for £23. Theres quite a few advents reduced there online.

Well rather than buying another high end calendar I've bought some bits i wanted to try from space nk and got the beauty gift plus the fragrance gift. I got 20% off too so paid £226 for £660 worth of products. Going to get my partner to fill an old advent calendar and not going to scrutinise the gift contents so feels like a nice surprise. I think I am done now 🤣

If you like the new candles keep an eye on QVC , they have all 3 scents for £78 . Not released for sale yet . With NEOM I believe they each one is £42 . Ideal if you were planning to gift them .

Thanks for the reminder about this. I'll keep an eye out for them hopefully doing that deal. Although I must admit I also love the massage candle, essential oils, and well, everything else really. I'm a big Neom fan.

I meant to say, sometimes Boots do Aveda shampoo and conditioner in their £10 Tuesdays. Handy if you want to try it without paying full price 😊

Does anyone know when the Harrods BAC will ship? I've just finished my beloved Medik8 c tetra advanced and was planning to replace it with the one from the calendar, but I don't know if I can live without it for long 😆

My email says dispatch is from 3rd September

Mine says 14th sept, but I only ordered it on Monday. They must be staggering the dispatches this year.

Ah probably. I was so excited that it got ordered on the day it was released 😆 Looks like the fragrance calendar is expected to dispatch at the same kind of time. Last year I remember receiving the FAC earlier (think late August) and the BAC at the start of September

Hi from a newbie - I've been loving these threads having at the ripe old age of 56, started getting interested in beauty products beyond the basics. It was my daughters wedding earlier this month and I had a bit of a glow up in the run up. I don't have a huge budget but think the Lookfantastic BAC looks the best for me, with plenty of new products to try out plus some familiar ones like Medik8 and Elemis. Im on the waitlist - so exciting!

for me is the fact that other than eye cream there’s a good routine. I think as long as I introduce things slowly, I should be ok. Not offended by the red lipstick, will have to look at the blush but happy to sell on if it’s not for me! Likewise on the hair care. Setting sprays will definitely be going but that’s ok. I’m on holiday atm so will add to my spreadsheet when I get home to make a final decision. Can anyone remember when Cult is released, is it next week? Thanks
