How much do you pay for botox?

Can I ask how much people pay for botox? I just want a single area doing, the vertical lines between my eyebrows. I want to go to someone qualified, a nurse or doc preferably! The price range seems so huge so I was just wondering what is 'normal'?

OP posts:
BeMellowAquaSquid · 25/08/2026 10:28

£200 for 3 areas but nurse prescriber is my best friend I’ve no idea what I’d pay if she didn’t do me a favour. Sorry should add I also have Lumi eyes and a skin boost too.

The OP asked what people pay. When she asked ‘what is normal’ she was asking about the price. She was not inviting opinions.

If you don’t want Botox, don’t have it. But you should refrain from introducing a judgement that nobody asked for. Perhaps let the people who do want it discuss the practicalities without the unsolicited moral commentary.

I made a comment that Botox treatment is not normal.
It was relevant to the subject matter of the thread. I was not offensive. It did not break MN guidelines . I was entitled to make that comment.

I think it's very interesting the number of pp on this thread getting their knickers in a twist over that comment. And telling me I don't have the right to post on the thread. Why are you all so sensitive about the fact other women have a different view on Botox to that widely expounded in the Style and Beauty topic.? Why do you want to shout down anyone who hasn't enthusiasticly embraced this highly dubious trend designed to play on Women 's absolute fear of the very natural process of aging?
Why the outrage that someone doesn't share your opinion?

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 25/08/2026 10:31

£300 3 areas, qualified specialist nurse

I think simply because the OP wasn’t asking your opinion about having Botox but how much people paid. 🤷‍♀️

No-one is outraged or ‘shouting you down’. It’s just absolute boredom with the same predictable and tedious anti-Botox commentary appearing on a thread that wasn’t asking for it.

I don’t tell my friends who choose not to have Botox how marvellous I think they’d look if they had it. They don’t cast aspersions when I tell them I’m going to have it done (although several of them now see my practitioner).

We simply respect that we’re adults who can make different choices about our own faces.

It’s called tolerance.

Think of it like smoking. We all know its bad for you - but there is no point in having the debate with a smoker.

You have to have your forehead done as well as the 11.lines so it doesn't look weird so it will be 2 areas you will need to pay for.

kellygoeswest · 25/08/2026 11:01

£250 for 3-areas in Surrey - the clinic is owned by two brothers who are ex-dentists and very good at what they do.

Mrscharlieeeee · 25/08/2026 11:04

I pay £190 for 2 areas, based in South Yorkshire and this is done by a nurse prescriber.

thenightsky · 25/08/2026 11:12

£200 in Lincolnshire. Plus £35 every six months for to see the prescriber and get a renewed prescription.

Mine never looks weird... it just flattens the deep ridge i have between my eyes but everything else looks the same.

Having a toxic substance injected into your face isn't really a normal thing to do. Despite all the hype that tries to convince women that it is.

You are aware that Botox is used by the NHS for conditions such as hyperhidrosis? It is a well researched and peer reviewed product, so there is really no need to derail OPs thread.

SaferHaven · 25/08/2026 12:21

NW - 120 for one area, 160 for 2, 200 for 3. I started getting 3 but now only get 2 as need to feel some movement at the top of my head as I’m an expressive talker and I felt weirdly trapped not being able to move my face normally. I generally get eyes and 11’s.

I am not derailing OP's thread. I made a comment which prompted multiple pp quoting me back and telling me I had no right to make that comment.
Why they are so irked by someone voicing an alternative view of Botox being used to try and prevent natural signs of aging says more about them than me.. They could have just ignored my comment and I wouldn't have bothered coming back to the thread!

I am very aware of botox being used for medical purposes. That is totally different thing from its use in the so called beauty industry, often by practitioners of dubious training, expertise or knowledge.

Would you mind sharing the name of the clinic please?

Therapie clinics

PineappleSunrise · 25/08/2026 13:23

Inthesunshinemoonshine · 24/08/2026 23:22

I perfectly understand what she was asking.

But that doesn't detract from the fact injecting toxins into your face isn't a normal thing to do.

There’s no shame in admitting you didn’t understand the question. Just apologise for being a numpty and move on, no problem.

Momon45 · 25/08/2026 13:31

Only had it for severe neck spasm on the NHS . I ended up not being able to swallow for weeks , just water and yoghurt . Lost loads of weight . Its a selective nerve toxin , you must be mad !

Midnightmoonface · 25/08/2026 08:12

What isn’t normal is unsolicited advice on what someone should or shouldn’t do with their body.

Although unsolicited advice on absolutely everything is normal on MN

MildlyAnnoyed · 25/08/2026 14:42

I charge £220 for up to 3 areas. North Wales. Nurse prescriber.

it’s the other way around - you can’t get forehead done without 11s, but you can get 11s done without forehead. I’ve done it several times.

Inthesunshinemoonshine · 25/08/2026 09:58

I'm not giving OP advice.

It's a thread about Botox. So my comments on Botox are relevant. Otherwise this thread is yet another to add to the pressure on women to think that having Botox treatment is the norm.

It’s a thread about the cost of Botox, not Botox itself.

EspanaPorfavor · 25/08/2026 16:33

It’s so cheap in the UK!

I pay 450€ for forehead, 11s and crows feet in San Sebastián. And it only lasts me 4 months so that’s three times a year

It’s just pointless though. You see it all the time on S&B threads about aesthetics treatments, handbags, etc.

”if you had £1000 to spend on a bag, which would you choose?”

”oh, I would never spend £1000 in a bag, what’s stupid thing to waste money on”

it’s just unnecessary
