How much do you pay for botox?

FlayOtters · 24/08/2026 22:18

Can I ask how much people pay for botox? I just want a single area doing, the vertical lines between my eyebrows. I want to go to someone qualified, a nurse or doc preferably! The price range seems so huge so I was just wondering what is 'normal'?

Ah, so you just wanted to make an irrelevant point that no one was asking for an opinion on… gotcha!

It's not a irrelevant point.
It's very important that people speak out against this tide of pressure on women to use these treatments.

I'm certainly not the only one who is appalled by the pressure on women to use botox, fillers and all the other potentially dangerous and unnecessary treatments to desperately turn back the totally natural aging process.

Feel free to start your own thread then where you can criticise women to your hearts content under the guise of concern.
Op has a specific question and if you aren’t willing to discuss that there’s really no reason for you to completely take over her post.

There literally injecting cow poison in their faces 🤣🤣🤣 even worse they think it looks "natural" 😂

*They’re

I know everybody hates a pedant but if you’re going to try to be insulting and funny it really works better if you spell correctly, otherwise you just look silly.

Thanks to those who have actually answered the question!
With regards to not just getting it in one area - I don't want to sound smug 😅but i literally dont even have a hint of any other lines on my forehead, just those - will it still look weird?

What isn’t normal is unsolicited advice on what someone should or shouldn’t do with their body.

I didn't give OP advice .I made a statement.

I'm under no illusion that my opinion on Botox will have any effect on what OP does with her body. But it is important that women speak out because threads like these ,if they don't feature differing opinions, do give the impression having Botox treatment is just the normal thing that women have to do when in fact it is very far from that.

I would try 11’s on their own first. The not-one-area thing is more of an issue when it’s forehead or crows feet where things need to be overall in balance more.

I assume not if it’s available in individual areas, it was just something that worried me 🤣 I’d speak to a practitioner (although I suspect they’ll be biased…) I largely like Botox for its preventative nature, so I’m not overly wrinkled but I’m hoping it’ll reduce them and slow them down over time? Which I’d want evenly.

I’m in a similar position. I have no lines on my forehead. Botox in my glabella area can make my eyebrows raise, so I have a couple of drops immediately above each eyebrow to stop this.

Cheetoo · 25/08/2026 08:46

I get the 11s done alone for 150. Have had it done 4 times now over about a 3 year period as it really lasts. I love it as I have deep frown lines between my eyes .

Someone’s angry and wrinkly. 👀

OP for one area with the lady I go to it’s £150, three at areas is £220.

Firstly the OP asked about Botox, they are allowed to ask so get off your soap box, most of us woman are not fucking sheep and seeing other woman put down for their choice is condescending.
It is also important that woman who DO want treatments aren't judged by other woman like you.
If YOU don't want Botox or filler or a ticket to the moon that is up to you but STFU when others do and they are not asking YOUR opinion on it.... quite simple really.
OP I don't pay much now as my friend ( a GP) does it but before I used to pay about £200 for 1 area, I think that's about average, what I will say is research your injector, their qualifications, experience etc.

TennisLady · 25/08/2026 09:03

I'm in the North East and pay £180 for one area by a qualified doctor.

Unsolicited advice is irrelevant. She asked about the cost, not for comments on Botox!

roshi42 · 25/08/2026 09:11

£230 for 3 areas, south east

Wetleggg · 25/08/2026 09:11

i get Korean Botox at home and it’s multiple small injection around the face and front of scalp More naturalistic - the clinic sometimes include it with other facials as a freebie

Ariel896 · 25/08/2026 09:13

Inthesunshinemoonshine · 24/08/2026 23:22

I perfectly understand what she was asking.

But that doesn't detract from the fact injecting toxins into your face isn't a normal thing to do.

Nobody cares about your opinion on this thread. Thanks
I pay 130 for three areas in NE

That’s why I do it too - it was during Covid when we started working from home - the sudden increase in seeing myself on Teams sent me straight out for Botox! 😅

A decent practitioner will not recommend more than you “need”.
they’ll get you to pull all sorts of facial expressions and discuss what you want from the treatment.

MaryIngallsRibbons · 25/08/2026 09:45

terrifyingtoes · 24/08/2026 22:58

£125 for one area. Chain of very good clinics in London.
I was previously having 3 areas - the usual, forehead lines, crows feet & vertical between eyebrows - mainly as I was told it was the only way to get good results.
I disliked the slightly odd frozen look it created.
Now just have between eyebrows.
I don’t mind laughter lines or looking surprised! Just don’t have that pissed of scowl anymore 😁

Would you mind sharing the name of the clinic please?

You are quite entitled not to care about my opinion. That doesn't mean to say I don't have the right to post on the thread. MN is supposed to be a forum for different opinions .

I'm not giving OP advice.

It's a thread about Botox. So my comments on Botox are relevant. Otherwise this thread is yet another to add to the pressure on women to think that having Botox treatment is the norm.

SnobblyBobbly · 25/08/2026 10:02

I pay a £45 per month subscription and go in for 3 areas, 3 times a year. Works out at £180 for 3 areas and I don’t really notice the £45.

Feels like they just call me in for free Botox 😆

The OP asked what people pay. When she asked ‘what is normal’ she was asking about the price. She was not inviting opinions.

If you don’t want Botox, don’t have it. But you should refrain from introducing a judgement that nobody asked for. Perhaps let the people who do want it discuss the practicalities without the unsolicited moral commentary.

IHeartFridays · 25/08/2026 10:27

£180 for 2 areas in Scotland.
