Opinions on these sandals please?

I'm eyeing up these sandals but can't decide. Thoughts please?

I am terrible for buying fugly sandals as I want something comfy, then they arrive and I decide they are awful and send them back 😅

I want something closed toe with a back strap for driving/ walking/ work in the summer (my work is quite casual though). Just something I can wear with casual dresses and shorts. That line between comfy but vaguely fashionable is hard to find.

Also welcome other suggestions!

I like them but I wear Birkenstocks so 🤷‍♀️

Check the Trustpilot reviews. This appears to be a scam site / overseas drop shipper. The business address doesn’t look like a shop front on Google Maps.

All the sandals linked except the M&S ones are fugly as anything.

FrostyMorn · 16/07/2026 08:44

I like them!!

Shame there's no photo of them on an actual foot, though.

hourglass2 · 16/07/2026 08:50

Awful!

Fiendishandfiery · 16/07/2026 08:53

It’s like a competition to find the fugliest sandal ever made on here today..

BitOutOfPractice · 16/07/2026 08:56

OP I quite like them but then I am hankering after some clogs so I may not be your wisest counsel.

I think the colour would look scruffy very quickly though.

Every other shoe linked (apart from the M&S ones) are absolutely hideous. Without exception. Apart from the Air & Grace ones. Which are lovely.

Aposterhasnoname · 16/07/2026 09:04

The M&S ones are the least hideous, but damn, theres some fugly shoes on here

That made me laugh out loud.

So true!

No it isn't. Again, this is just another thread where people try to be humorous but because hardly anyone in this site knows or understands what humour is, it comes across as bullying and shaming, especially when people like you pile on.

Thankfully, no one has spat tea all over their keyboard or woken their husbands and children from laughing yet.

OP, if you like them, then get them and see how they look and feel on your feet in person. Sadly I do feel they're not the right shoe for you. They'd look better in black or brown. I'd go for the M&S sandals, or get a pair of clogs.

EnjoythemoneyJane · 16/07/2026 09:26

They’re objectively fugly, OP, no doubt, but whether or not you can carry them off will depend entirely on your personal style - and without knowing you, your height/shape, your tastes or your wardrobe, nobody here can possibly tell you whether they’d work for you.

I can imagine them being fine on someone who dresses in a cool, arty way (boxy Japanese-style trousers, sharp bob, top that looks like origami). Or a more boho/eclectic/vintage vegan style, the kind of person who already wears shoes from Camper or Toast. But if you’re more of a Boden-on-the-school run gal then yeah, they definitely may come off a bit chicken-fillety 😂.

The only shoes on this thread I’d give house room are the ones @AfogatoFirenze suggested (and I love Birkenstocks). But I’m not you. If you like them and think they’ll be comfortable then go for it.

It’s a fuck no from me. You’ll look like you are wearing cooked chicken breasts on your feet.

😂😂😂👏👏👏

PS5Gamer · 16/07/2026 10:29

I like them! I’d go for khaki or leopard print though. I’m a Birkenstock wearer too🤷🏻‍♀️

januaryjanuarydone · 16/07/2026 10:31

I’ve tried these on and they are very comfy. And do much nicer than your fugly ones, OP!

VividDeer · 16/07/2026 10:59

gotmyselfintoapickle · 16/07/2026 07:59

When you say comfortable - do you walk much in them? I am thinking like 10-15k step type days?

As you say - they are nice enough and do look comfortable. Always so hard to tell with sandals though.

In answer to the OP - sorry, nope, those are awful.

I haven't yet. I need to increase steps gradually.

Wearing my trusty reiker and skechers for urban hikes.

FallenNight · 16/07/2026 11:00

Errr, I think they are quite funky

monicagellerbing · 16/07/2026 11:14

@Gateappreciationare you being serious? They are worse than the OP’s. Hideous unless you’re in your 90’s

GameOfJones · 16/07/2026 11:16

Is there a reason you want closed toes? I think that with a strap is a hard look to pull off unless you are going for a smarter work shoe (like the Air and Grace ones linked). It is definitely harder for a casual summer sandal for clocking up lots of steps.

Thingamebobwotsit · 16/07/2026 11:19

Has anyone found any nice looking sandals these season?

Overthecherry · 16/07/2026 11:32

I like them, op. I think they’re actually good, you did a good job there , finding them. Please note that most of the peeps piling on to say yuck havent offered anything themselves.
The air and grace ones are not the same type of thing at all, they’re toe cramping things.

lalaloopyhead · 16/07/2026 11:34

I actually don't mind then - they look a bit clog like. I also like Birkenstocks (which the soles are similar too) which don't seem a popular choice on here so what do I know.

I think some of the alternatives offered are not even comparable in terms of use.

I don't think I would wear then for work though. I've been looking for some comfy, walk for miles on coastal paths type sandals and I think they would fit the bill for that. Might be a case of see what they look like on?

It’s not really a sandal season imo so little newness.
