Have you watched Sali’s insta? She acknowledges that the Sunday Riley can be used morning and evening but recommends morning because vit c and SPF pair well and because there’s no point having a glow for your pillow 😀

On a separate note, I am really loving the Sulwhasoo cream from the Chasing the Sun Edit. I am taking advantage of people reselling theirs as it’s otherwise very expensive!

Is it hydrating? I'm struggling to find a light moisturiser that is also hydrating at the moment. I've been using Paula's choice pro-collagen moisturiser but my face feels quite dry despite also using a hydrating serum and SPF 😞 Usually I suffer with oily skin in summer so I'm not sure what's going on this year. Maybe too much sun.

Whenever I see an AC/edit at a hugely inflated price on eBay I add it to my watch list, so the seller will get excited that someone may be willing to pay that. 🤣

I’ve always had combo/ oily but much to my surprise my beautician (who I’ve known 10+ years and really rate) recently told me I have dry skin! I find the Sulwhasoo really moisturising, my skin feels lovely and soft when I’ve used it which is why I’m loving it so much. I also like the ginseng scent. Shame it’s so expensive as the little pots are a little fiddly but needs must!

I’m also really liking the By Terry Matcha Mist Elixir for a moisture boost throughout the day. I was gifted it in exchange for a review but I would rebuy it.

This was recently in my empties. I got it in an edit quite a while back. I found it really good for all day moisture. You do need to give it 10 mins to soak in but once it has I found it worked well with all other products inc spf and make up. I was impressed with it overall.

The Liberty summer scent edit seems to have sold out, I thought I bought this in August last year. Are things selling out quicker now?

I never have the John Lewis beauty rewards! To be fair I tend to buy very boring things there instead of treats, but honestly I'm not in the least impressed by my current rewards - £5 off £50 spend on activewear 💩

@HolidayHattie Please remember to introduce any new product gradually into a routine if you are still working on a ‘system’.
Allow at least 2 weeks before trying a new product and start in the evening in case you gave a skin reaction (ignore AM/PM rules until you try them first). All this skincare malarkey is a long game unfortunately.
Also try not to over-apply. A tiny bit of everything is plenty, apart from cleansers where you can be generous.
I would say the Medik8 Liquid Peptides should not cause any skin issues.

From personal experience, it might not be the case for everyone, vitamin C products don’t work for me. And I am a regular tretinoin user (strong stuff). I often get redness, irritation or itching from vitamin C. I tried a lot of them. Only Roche Possay was OK but it didn’t actually do anything for my skin to say it was worth using it forever.
So be careful with vitamin C until you get used to it.
And don’t use strong acids toners or exfoliants at the same time.

They aren't doing these scent edits as often, not surprised they have gone. I got 3!

I don't want anything for it. I already have several from perfume edits and have given some away to a friend. Pay it forward, i.e. gift something to someone else in future. DM your address.

@HolidayHattie with Vit c, it’s also worth noting it comes in different formulations, L ascorbic acid being one. I can’t remember all of the names but I know the one I have (in Lumene Nordic C serum) is the most gentle.

This is the one I use, it’s a CT dupe, I think it’s only £2.99
Even if they don’t currently have in store, they do get them in regularly. I usually buy a couple at a time, but have also previously bought off Vinted (of course there will be a bit of a mark up plus on costs)

I have also used the Laneige lip mask which is good, but I personally find it too fiddly being in a pot, I prefer something I can directly apply to my lips

Well my Patrick Ta mystery bags finally arrived. I got the same as others on here.
Quite annoyingly, it showed two bags on the website, one with pink print and one with orange print, so I did think I’d get sent one of each as they were in the same order, or at least that the bags would have varying contents. Not the case! So I now have two of everything, and some of the colour ways are a bit much for my pale skin. I’ll keep what I can use, likely sell a couple of bits and hold some back for Christmas gifting (I’m going to be so popular with the teenage girls in my life 😁)

That will teach me. I normally only buy multiples of mystery bags if I mostly know the contents or they are cheap (like the recent LF £11 ones)
