@HolidayHattie It might be worth changing your toothpaste. I had endless issues with my lips until I changed to Arm and Hammer (at DD's request) I kind of forgot about it till I went on holiday with one of those travel sized colgate tubes and the issues all came back.

Ooh, that's something I hadn't considered. I do switch between Colgate and Arm & Hammer. I'm using the latter at the moment and it might have improved slightly but not much.

Fellow restrainer here too. Sending support because it’s tough atm. I’ve managed to resist the recent CB edits and the Liberty scent kit. However, I did send the link for the granado suitcase to my DH telling hinting that I would like it for Christmas and because I’m soo lovely if he ordered it NOW whilst the Liberty BD was on he could save 20% but that absolutely does not count.

I don't regret the CB 90s edit as it's a fab selection of stuff and I love the lip pencil and balm.

I'm resisting everything else as far as possible and there's been quite a bit of temptation today alone.

Back after 5 days completely offline and it’s taken me over an hour to catch up on this thread! And I missed the CB SH edit 😭😭😭 which I’ve been saving my CB voucher for. Really disappointed about that one. Ah well, I guess I’ve spent quite enough money over the last few days in other ways. I’ve always been meticulous about continuing skincare regime when camping, no different this time around, except I reduced everything to bare bones: no actives, just one serum and moisturiser & eye cream for pm and, of course a different one for am. Definitely where the minis become useful! And I’ve discovered a newfound love for the AB spf50, although also took my Roundlabs and Biotherm too. Mainly, I’m v proud of managing nearly 5 days in sunshine without getting remotely burnt: in fact, I was so good at sunscreen and shade I’ve managed to come back pretty much the same (am fairly pale, redhead, but skin less translucent than when I was in my teens - more mid/pale than white/pale these days) colour as I went away!

Plus, no Boots box discount for me either (I’d have liked a second one, but really don’t want to pay £49 again, esp as I paid £55 for the Cosmo box too).

Im going to try the fullsize blush instore. The orange one. To see how it looked before opening. 🤩

Chapped lip update: thank you all for the suggestions. These have just arrived so fingers crossed that they work! I'll let you know how I get on.

I've been been experimenting/testing my too-large collection of mascaras from calendars and edits on WFH days, trying to narrow down which ones I like. And I remembered this pertinent tip - sometimes if you love a mascara, it's the brush itself, so save it, and try with other mascaras too.

I dug out a brush I saved from Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen mascara (absolutely brilliant, but expensive!), and tried it this morning with a Sweed mascara (pro lash), where I love the formula, but hate the applicator - and OMG the result is perfection 😍 No smudging, no irritation, and the long, curled, and still fluttery effect I wanted, but couldn't get from the Sweed applicator!

I was tempted by SpaceNK but went down the rabbit hole of r/skincareaddiction and while brand is largely liked I've seen a few reviews of potential irritation. Might revisit at some point but I have enough skincare to keep me going for a while to skip it for now.

@LouScot I’ve come across this kind of thing before and it’s always worked out okay - I think with these big companies the packers just see what’s on the packing list and don’t give it a second thought!

I ordered a mini Limitless Mascara, which I already have in my stash box, but for some reason even though I rarely wear mascara I feel like you can’t have too many minis!
