Anyone have a recommendation or a few for shorts that cover these…

  • enough arse covering that my cheeks aren’t showing but not so long they look frumpy
  • no iron / easy iron
  • flatter a big tummy
  • comfortable waist band
  • don’t cut your fanny in half when you sit down
  • on trend / young ish fashion
  • not adversed to something funky

These are really nice! Being linen, do they crease a lot during wear?

Sorry, only just saw this. Not especially, no. They're soft linen so creases drop out quickly too. They aren't going to stay as smooth as other - man-made - fibres, but I like that.

I think Trinny and Susannah once said above the age of 40 women should not show their legs above the knee.

I am inclined to agree.

Unless they look really youthful maybe?

My shorts are all knee-length and I have never worn minidresses even when very young as my thighs are on the athletic side.

I’d say my legs are one of best features so they’re out and proud still 😂

Whoever suggested a skort, you’ve changed my life 😂 I bought a soft denim Bershka one that I’ve worn all day while out and about doing lots of walking and it’s super comfy and feel great!!
