Oh I was only donig recent ones

PuppyMonkey · 23/06/2008 13:16

Those all in one body popper things that you used to do up at your crotch - totally didn't get them. Did they have a point?

MrsMattie · 23/06/2008 13:16

Never did gypsy skirts or birkenstocks either. Or Crocs.
Or bare fanjo (urgh).

Never worn:

that dress-over-jeans style
leggings the second time around
gladiator sandals (sooooo unflattering unless you have skinny, deeply tanned legs)
'acid bright' colours - no grown woman should

I have never done swishy printed knee length skirts: though often lovely, they look crap if you've got fat calves/ankles

Did/do do brown; NEVER done navy

no gypsy skirts here either but was permtastic in the 80s

PuppyMonkey · 23/06/2008 13:17

Never done the nautical look at any point. Or safari.

MrsMattie · 23/06/2008 13:17

navy! (shudder). i couldn't. I couldn't. I couldn't not tuck jeans into boots. Otherwise I'd feel like an Essex housewife (nice heeled boots under bootcut jeans...Nooooooooo)

No, please!@cod - don't tell me I will one day happily wear boots under jeans (mwaaaaah). I'm 31 , so not prticularly young, but I just couldn'twear my boots tucked away. It's a step away from M&S Footglove 'shoe-boots' (shivers)

Perm (don't need one)
Pushed up sleeves
String of pearls
Peter Pan collar

circa early 80s

Have never worn stillettos or lipstick

EffiePerine · 23/06/2008 13:23

neon
cropped trousers
skinny jeans

thebecster · 23/06/2008 13:23

Skinny jeans (am pear-shaped - the effect would be comic...)
piercings (not even my ears )
boho (especially boho-deluxe - jewelled peasant costumes? puh-lease!)
juicy couture style velour tracksuits (everyone but J-lo should have bypassed this)
hollywood waxes (shivers with memory of seeing little-girl-fanjos on grown women at gym)
'it' bags - more than £50 on a handbag is a bit silly imo. More than £1000 is just obscene
'Rachel from Friends' haircut - aka the Afghan hound look
Platform shoes (I fall over enough in my trainers...)
Facebook - I don't really like 'people' that much.

EffiePerine · 23/06/2008 13:23

uggs

cornsilk · 23/06/2008 13:23

hermykne · 23/06/2008 13:23
