I've solved my manky heels!

I had heels like hooves. It didnt matter what I did or used. Now for the first time in my life, I have finally got pink, smooth and soft heels!

I know it's a common question on here.

It's taken 3 weeks so it's not a quick fix. I used Dr Scholl perfect pedi a few times a week. The first few times were pretty hardcore but now it's just a quick go around so takes a couple of minutes.

Most mornings I put body moisturiser on them. Then every night I'd use Flexitol. The one that says it works in 3 days sinks in better than the 1 day. I'm now alternating the flexitol with the multitude of other foot lotions I have.

It's this pedi perfect (worth shopping around).

Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream, solved fhe issue very quickly for me. Also got rid of fhe crepyness on my chest.

yes I was about to say 8 hour cream! gives me baby feet and I’m a runner/swimmer

I have these cropped socks which have a gel lining around the heel. If I wear them to bed, they magnify the effect of the heel balm (Flexitol), and stop it rubbing off. Also feet don’t get too hot as your toes are out. I like Margaret Dabbs for a general foot moisturiser, but there’s nothing like the Flexitol for cracked rough heels.

Vaseline is just as good or better and much much cheaper- mine were horrendous but Vaseline with socks every night and they are smooth as anything now

No where near as good as flexitol

I've been using the Scholl blue glass foot file, the sculpturally shaped one. Brilliant on dry or showered feet.

Now your heels are sorted, to keep them soft, keep them covered with socks as much as possible.

When I wore flip flops over the summer during the day, my heels became dry and cracked.

I love burts bees foot cream for my heels but they don’t seem to do it in the UK any more. Looking forward to trying done of these other suggestions.

I am also struggling with this. Trying Flexitol, pumice, soaking feet, wrapping in cling film after applying the Flexitol. It's not quick but gently improving.

My dry, cracked trotters were entirely sorted out when I changed from shower gel to bar soap.

I can't explain this.

Wow really!!
