@Beautyfox
I'm not seeing a reduction on the anthropologie summer beauty bag. Do you need a code?

Just looked at the email and it looks like it was only for yesterday. Summer solstice discount. Sorry I missed that when I posted it wasn’t very obvious when I read the email.

No problem, thanks for replying.

@Beautyfox I totally missed the Anthropologie email, despite placing a large order yesterday…and hadn’t spotted the edit at all ☹️ That’ll teach me to check first!

LightandBreezy · 22/06/2026 09:22

@pinkchampagne1 I'm still annoyed with myself for not picking up a 3rd mystery Easter bundle with that serum in. That was such a bargain, had the 50ml size for such a low price (birthday edit has 30ml) I'll probably get the birthday edit because I do love the serum, but I don't want anything else from it at all so feels wasteful.

TragicMuse · 22/06/2026 09:57

I’m using a face mist for refreshing during the day but it seems to be making my face feel itchy and tight.

It’s the Ivy Aïa one. Has anyone else experienced this?

Beautyfox · 22/06/2026 10:07

@TragicMuse is it the toner face mist?

Face Toner Mist is suitable for all skin types. Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba, and Lactic Acid, this mist provides the perfect blend of hydration and balance for your skin on the go.
There’s hyaluronic and lactic acid in it which could be causing issues if you are sensitive.

edited to add: with it being a toning mist it may be designed to tighten.

I actually wanted to thank you for reminding me that I have a few face mists in my stash which will be very useful over the next few days!

TragicMuse · 22/06/2026 11:18

@Beautyfox it doesn’t look like the toner…it’s meant to be moisturising and protective.

EdgarAlien · 22/06/2026 11:35

I absolutely love face mist in this weather, I’m using up a giant caudalie grape water, and I’m sure I used it half a dozen times yesterday, with no ill effects. I usually use niod blue mist, in the morning, antioxidant rather than just cooling.

anyone got any favourite mists to recommend?

BurningTheToast · 22/06/2026 11:37

Popped into TK Maxx this morning looking for a cake stand (hellish relative coming for afternoon tea to see aged father in law - she is judgy and it WILL be perfect. Oh yes...) and noticed that they have one litre bottles of Arkive's everyday shampoo and conditioner on the shelves, plus Biacre, lots of Olaplex and some Christophe Robin in case that's of any use to anyone.

I also browsed their skincare and there's a lot of Lorean stuff. I know a couple of brands like Glow Recipe and BoJ and I'm currently using an Allies of Skin cleanser (quite drying tbh) but I wondered if anyone could give me a heads up on which of the brands I see in there are worth trying please? I especially love a good cleansing oil although fear I may have been spoilt by Votary and elemis on that front.

I'm currently using the Omorovicza Queen of Hungary mist which is very nice. I wouldn't have bought it so it must have come in an edit but if you can pick one up fairly inexpensively it's worth a try. Lovely smell.

Mind you, I don't exactly need it today - I'm in Scotland and it's a blistering 16 degrees here. I've just put on a jumper and my Uggs...

Chantecaille Rose de Mai is lovely. I'm using that currently. I got it in a reduced SNK edit. I imagine it's quite pricey to purchase outright but it is nice. The spray is very fine.

I like the d'Alba white truffle mist which is often on offer through their Amazon storefront.

Tatcha Dewy mist is also very nice but again pricey for a mist so I've only used ones I've received in advents, edits or gwps.

Omorovicza Fans - worth signing up to their website directly as they run 25 percent offs, subscribe and good stacked discounts, not often, every three months or so.

CB have re-released their sun edit with a couple of changes. It looks good for £42 - did anyone already buy and recommend it? Was £42 the original price?

Very nearly tempted by this, but looking at reviews of the Paula's Choice and they're not great 🤔 has anyone tried it?

I like the Glow Recipe watermelon mist, and I think it’s on sale at Cult just now? Either that, or I got it with 20% through a code. Bought one today anyway!

I also like the Byoma one as an everyday cheaper option.

I have a Chantecaille mini one currently from the SNK bridal edit but it’s not misting properly — need to see if I can fix it as it’s just squirting me unpleasantly!

Lurkingshark · 22/06/2026 13:32

curel and byoma face mists for me - often in Boots offers.

Curel is huge and good in winter as a layer and refreshing in summer. It’s fairly benign- ceramides and hyuralonic.

I did a search and only saw mainly good reviews?

IlovePond · 22/06/2026 14:06

Thanks @Hicupping - what a bargain! I do love FS perfume. My absolute favourite is Arizona Bloom but I don’t mind the others, (with the exception of Sunflowers, which I have decided I really don’t like for some reason).

Hicupping · 22/06/2026 14:29

Just got my CB edit and for some reason I thought the lanolips was tinted. It's not it's just strawberry shortcake scented lanolin, very weird.

TragicMuse · 22/06/2026 14:29

Ok. I just tried the mist again and it’s made me feel tight again, despite being fully moisturised etc.

So that’s a dud for me.

I might look for another…

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 22/06/2026 14:47

Ah, scrolling back now to read the mist discourse in full — I should clarify, @TragicMuse, I don’t use a mist over other products or throughout the day. I just use it as part of my morning/evening routine so that I’m starting with damp skin before hydrating serum/other layers.

So I’m not sure it would still feel good if I used it and just let it air dry. Have you tried it as a first step? Maybe that’s a way to use it up that wouldn’t cause the tightness issue.

I am regretting not picking up another Easter bundle too. That was a bargain with the MZ serum but I have lots of serums in my stash so only ordered the one.

I refuse to traipse around shops looking for this again! If I see one whilst out and about I might pick it up…

Has anyone ever actually bought a light wand? They seem to be given away so much they can’t be profitable.
