Now we're in June we might be seeing the first Advent reveal before the month is out! Exciting times. 😍

@TragicMuse - I did like the look of YESSTYLE and StyleKorean’s calendars last year. I wasn’t that bothered by Yepoda’s, (although it was really beautiful), as Yepoda only sell overseas, not in SK. I’d have been happy to get it as a gift, though!

Btw: I rediscovered my Aldi self-heating eye masks yesterday. I used one last night and it was brilliant!

I found mine a few weeks ago when sorting through my stash, I used one that night and was really impressed, yet haven’t remembered to use any since. I have 2 packs of them 😅
I did have a little pamper last night though using my BoJ face mask, finally got around to reintroducing a toner (Byoma milky toner) and I used a foot mask as well.

Here’s a pic of my new little cupboard.

I have put eye creams in the top drawer, moisturisers in drawers two and three and miscellaneous items in drawer four.

I am horrified by how much eye cream and moisturiser I have. I am reasonably sure I can get through it though, as it is all well within date.

However, I have just filled a whole Stackers box with toner and serum and another with cleanser, so maybe the amount of the other stuff isn’t as bad 😹😹😹

I have one Stackers/shelf for make up. Apart from my apparent obsession with buying lip products, (which ends now, btw 😹), my make up collection is quite reasonable and within what I would think of as ‘normal’ parameters.

I really am going to stop with the skincare purchases - I will let you all know how I get on!

Edited

Love the drawers! Where are they from?
They would be perfect in my en-suite for all the stuff that doesn’t fit in my bathroom cupboard and are hidden everywhere.

IlovePond · 17/06/2026 17:01

Sounds lovely @Thelifeofawife - I gave a pack of the eye masks to my friend and am kind of regretting that now as they are lovely!

@Beautyfox they are from the Futon Company. Delivery is extortionate so I picked mine up in store, (not exactly local to me, but never mind!)

Here’s the link:

www.futoncompany.co.uk/shop-by-product/organise/bathroom-furniture/narrow-bathroom-chest.html?

I am now considering getting another one for the bathroom.

OMG I know we can’t avoid it as they will come around thick and fast, but I’m not ready for advent season! As much as I love it; the anticipation, the chat, the spreadsheets, I have soooo much stuff to wade through already, I can’t even think what I’d really want to see in a BAC at this point, and the likelihood is that I already own it anyway, buried in my stash 🙈

Same! As much as I love it, I'm not quite ready. The drawers are full so the thought of trying to fit anything else into the house just overwhelms me 🤣 My Harrods order arrived today too 😳

SelfCareHan · 17/06/2026 17:35

There's a great free trial offer with FFS Beauty razors which I nabbed recently - you get the razor handle and blade then a mini shaving cream and the accessories to go with, its such good value!!

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 17/06/2026 19:50

Has anyone here tried the Liz Earle toner? I impulse-bought one in £10 Tuesdays yesterday. It’s not a brand I use a lot; nothing against it, I think other things just have a stronger appeal. I can remember when LE cleanser was regarded as pretty groundbreaking stuff, but that feels like a looong time ago.

Thelifeofawife · 17/06/2026 19:57

IIRC correctly, some of you liked the look of the Boots Wellness box priced at £29.99 - it is now part of their 3 for 2 on vitamins, so worth stocking up if that’s your thing (I’m rubbish with this stuff, I remember to take vitamins for a couple of weeks then forget for 6 months)

Thelifeofawife · 17/06/2026 20:01

My JL order arrived today. The GWP is great, I’m really pleased with it.
Incidentally, I bought a bundle from Vinted earlier today which included a PK elasticizer, completely forgetting that the GWP has one in (and given the listings on the sellers page, I suspect they got the GWP too 😅)

Anyway, I’m very happy but also a little concerned as to where I’m going to store it all, along with my Harrods GWP which is still in its delivery box. I may need to order some more drawers, and nail them to the wall as I’ve run out of floor space 🤣

MrsDahliaTravers · 17/06/2026 20:35

I got an email from You Beauty about a free gift when you purchase a beauty edit, but can't see anything about this online?

Sounds just like me. I've had success with stuff in gummy form as it's like eating a sweet and they don't tend to come with eat before/after food type instructions. I can just take them at any point in the day I remember. I do have questions as to their effectiveness vs proper vitamin pills though.

By January we'll all have to chip in for a shared storage unit, maybe one up north and one down south. 😂

Liz Earle Skin Tonic is one of my staples has been for years. I always stock up when it's offer.

Oh I’m talking about gummies, there’s no hope for me 😅 I did have better commitment to collagen powder, because I put that in my morning coffee, however I even dropped off that because the coffee tastes nicer without it 🫠

My reply got deleted because I mentioned the G word 🙄
But basically, I’m just as hopeless with them.
I had more success with collagen powder because I added it to my morning coffee, but I eventually ditched that because my coffee tasted nicer without it 😅

Thelifeofawife · 17/06/2026 21:53

Oh, looks like it’s back now 😅

I’m loving the idea of hiring out a storage unit! I think it would be a lovely sanctuary to visit as well 🥰

JoRaRaRa · 17/06/2026 21:57

I also love the idea of the shared storage unit, we could make it all pretty like it's a mall 😍 (for when we need a full floor of a storage place 🤣).

Thank you! Looking forward to trying it now.

SummerLimes · 17/06/2026 22:01

Would the storage be full of elasticizer ?!

I started trying to do that but it always clumps up rather than melting into the coffee. Not sure where I'm going wrong. Maybe my coffee machine isn't hot enough?

Yay, we could all book turns to stroke the products 😀

We could have a separate one just for the Elasticiser. It would have to be at the centre point of the UK which I believe is Morecambe Bay. 😁

It seems to really work for some people. My friend loves it so now I sling them all her way.
