Now we're in June we might be seeing the first Advent reveal before the month is out! Exciting times. 😍

@Thelifeofawife - it’s true - I also feel better for being more organised. During my Stackers/Vlando purchasing spree my focus was on tidying up. At least now I have things organised by type, plus I have managed to decant things that were taking up cupboard space into the drawers.

I’m embarrassed to say that whilst I was tidying up my cupboard I also found a brand new pair of trainers. On the plus side, my feet have been really painful recently so maybe a change of trainer will help 🤞

This edit has been reduced in the Sephora sale, it was overpriced to start with but at 50% would make a lovely gift.

I find allsorts ive forgotten about when im sorting out. I found 2 look fantastic dermalogica edits at the weekend id totally forgot about. I contemplated getting one the other week. Glad I didnt.
I think I need to do it once a week. Never going to happen but 🤣
Im not denying myself advents. Its my only pleasure at xmas. Gets me through it. Although I had a big blow out last xmas after coming on here and being a sheep. 🤣😍
Glad to hear some people have unopened advents. Makes me feel better. I am slowly sorting and selling bits on vinted,gifting,etc so its going down slowly. ♥️

I have a massive stash of what I call 'the limbo box' which is unopened stuff from all the boxes and calendars, mainly perfume as that's what I am in to but other stuff too.

I sell a lot from the edits/boxes but I quite like to amass a personal stash of stuff that I'm not sure if I'm going to keep, and take it out of it's hiding place occasionally to handle and stare lovingly at the contents.

The TRINNY London sale is quite tempting and I do need some elevator but I’m wondering about the microneedling set. Has anyone tried it?

btw, I popped into Jo malone to try their new vegetable scents. Quite Interesting. The beetroot one smells like beetroot. I wasn’t keen. The butternut squash one smells like custard creams and popcorn and lasted well. The carrot one was my favourite, it was fresh and complex but sadly just didn’t last very long. Worth having a spritz if you are passing by.

@Fillybuster I hadn’t heard of Regimes either, it just came up on my TikTok feed. I put it in my basket while I mulled it over for a few days, and when I went back on I had a voucher for 25% off. It’s worth adding and checking your vouchers, and if you don’t have any decent discounts, try again in a few days.

@IlovePond Don’t feel bad about finding trainers during your sort out. I still have a pair which I bought 18 months ago, I’m well aware they are there as I have to keep moving the box to get to other things, yet I’ve bought 2 new pairs of trainers since! I think I’m going to hold on to them until nearer Christmas and sell them.

@MrsBnow12 Thats a nice set, agree that it was overpriced to start but would make a good gift, I may get one for DSD upcoming birthday

@IDontHateRainbows - I must admit I was happy/surprised to rediscover a couple of things yesterday. I was selling stuff, but have suspended my listings on eBay due to not wanting to reach 30 items sold thereby triggering a completely unnecessary tax self-assessment, which I would no doubt have to do forever more!

It’s annoying, as three of my ‘total’ sales were cancellations by the buyer, but they still count towards my thirty even they never left my house!

I just ordered another SpaceNK Travel Edit. The stuff I didn’t want sold fast and as DP uses the Medik8 SPF every day there’s no harm getting a backup! I’m keeping the Amika, Summer Fridays, Tatcha and Then I Met you for myself.

The first Selfridges fragrance wardrobe has been reduced to £38 from £55 - I know @IDontHateRainbows said it was a good one and the bottles are individually boxed

I nearly bought the 2nd one last night, I might hold out and see if it's reduced. The first one is good but I don't need another one and CBA selling stuff 🤭🤣

Trainers no longer seem to fit my feet, which must have changed for the worse in the four years since I bought them🙀 I am feeling very sad about that - they were really expensive, plus I threw away the box 😿

Any possibility to stretch ?

I went and looked against my better judgement. Put a load of stuff in my basket then removed it all except a NARS glow foundation. Bought that as £28 is a really good price and it's one of my very favourites. I signed up to Unlimited delivery a while back so wasn't stung for postage either.

Not looking again. 😂

£36. I think I probably pitched a bit low though. So I paid £44 for DP’s Medik8 cream which is normally £56 (20% off essentially, pretty standard) and I’m taking the view the stuff I kept was free 😅

Anyone know the code? I can’t find a waitlist to subscribe to and I get regular emails from them and I don’t think I’ve missed one about this. I would love to have a nosey at it.

OMG I know we can’t avoid it as they will come around thick and fast, but I’m not ready for advent season! As much as I love it; the anticipation, the chat, the spreadsheets, I have soooo much stuff to wade through already, I can’t even think what I’d really want to see in a BAC at this point, and the likelihood is that I already own it anyway, buried in my stash 🙈

On that note, my JL order arrived today 😅

@SummerLimes - they are nylon Hokas, so probably not. I may try again on another day. They are nice ones as well!

Here’s a pic of my new little cupboard.

I have put eye creams in the top drawer, moisturisers in drawers two and three and miscellaneous items in drawer four.

I am horrified by how much eye cream and moisturiser I have. I am reasonably sure I can get through it though, as it is all well within date.

However, I have just filled a whole Stackers box with toner and serum and another with cleanser, so maybe the amount of the other stuff isn’t as bad 😹😹😹

I have one Stackers/shelf for make up. Apart from my apparent obsession with buying lip products, (which ends now, btw 😹), my make up collection is quite reasonable and within what I would think of as ‘normal’ parameters.

I really am going to stop with the skincare purchases - I will let you all know how I get on!

Btw: I rediscovered my Aldi self-heating eye masks yesterday. I used one last night and it was brilliant!

I would love a j and k-beauty one…I’m rather obsessed!
