By the time it gets processed and despatched summer will be over! They are still processing orders from May. My June 5 order hasn't shifted.

I may try to pick it up in store...

My order from the weekend dispatched overnight and is due to be delivered today, I have one item from my 31st May order missing but think it has now gone out of stock so will see what happens with that.

IlovePond · 10/06/2026 07:58

Thanks @Fillybuster - I will see if I can find some. My hand is still very sore 8 days on but looks like it is finally starting to heal a bit 🤞

Beautyfox · 10/06/2026 07:59

Oh my cream has a summer sale on. Some lovely bits so worth a look. I really like this company so try to support them.

IlovePond · 10/06/2026 08:05

Rituals have a sale - app only.

They have the advent calendars from 2025 slightly reduced if anyone is interested, plus make up has 50% off. (I didn’t even know that Rituals did makeup!)

They are giving away a free summer beach bag with purchases over £50.

I’m quite interested in one of their surprise boxes, but not enough to pay postage on top and they don’t offer click and collect. If anyone wants one, you get information on everything that MIGHT be in it, by clicking on INGREDIENTS.

I just know if I ordered one I would get the mud cream, (which I can’t stand), and the hand soap, so I will probably give it a miss.

I would be more likely to succumb if they told you the RRP of the box and how many products you would be getting. As it is, they just guarantee one full size product.

Bootsorflipflops · 10/06/2026 08:13

Seasonal scents subscription is rammed full this quarter, couldn’t fit it all back in the box! Enjoying it so far but only sampled a couple of fragrances, so could be quantity over quality. But as I get it for the nice surprise and the variety of new things to try, I’m really happy with this. Marked sensitive in case anyone still waiting for theirs, don’t want to ruin the surprise.

Tells me more @Bootsorflipflops the samples looks really good. A few of those I’ve tried and are good quality ones. It looks like there’s a nice mix of higher end and a few cheaper ones. When I google seasonal scents it comes up with a candle subscription service. Do you have a link? I absolutely shouldn’t look as I have more than enough perfume but I gave up being well behaved years ago.

I used vaseline on a burn and it really helped it heal. 😍
Hope its better soon

Its the Perfume Society. I received the same. Not tried anything yet. Think its £21.95 or thereabouts x

I'm currently on my way to the real life store! Luckily I am on public transport to work today and go right past so it'll be an excuse for a little browse and coffee on my way in. I may re purchase the father's day edit and then if the first one arrives late, send it back.

Also have some ndulge points. Feels very naughty going in before work, luckily they are flexible on start times.

Thelifeofawife · 10/06/2026 09:16

@MrsBnow12 The SNK edit looks right up my street, but typical that it’s got the Medik8 moisturiser in that I was complaining about a few days ago 🙈
That said, as @namechange0998776554799000 suggested, it may be best to use as an spf and add another moisturiser. I’ll give it a try today then make a decision about the edit

Ooh that sounds like such a treat - enjoy 😊
I love doing things like that when I have a meeting in the city centre, but it’s usually afterwards that I get to shop/stop for coffee, and then I get stuck in the rush hour traffic going home so it takes the shine off it a bit

namechange0998776554799000 · 10/06/2026 09:20

The weird thing about that medik8 is that twice now I've seen it described in edits as SPF30, but it's definitely SPF50. You can even see that when you zoom in on the picture.

Hicupping · 10/06/2026 09:34

I love the makeup bag for the SNK but I've already got 4 of the items partly due to SNK advent.
Milk spray I think is decent - does it make any difference extending makeup, not sure it's not really been put to test but it goes on nice, no spots or irritation and it will last you ages. Good for softning look when you've put powder on.
Cleansing balm is nice and also comes off nice. Looking at you Elemis.
Not keen on Medik8 sunscreens after the vit c one. That looked so awful on and left my skin looking worse. Made me very sad as bought a whole edit for it.
I'm assuming everyones tried the jet lag but it has niacinamide in it which is why I think I've had a love hate relationship.

Really like the bag though.

user593 · 10/06/2026 09:39

My DP has very nearly used up that Medik8 sunscreen so if he wants another one I think I’ll buy the edit 😶 Would be silly not to really!

Hicupping · 10/06/2026 09:42

Does the Medik8 go on matte? The vit c one was super shiny?

Fleecy · 10/06/2026 09:48

I've also received my PS seasonal scents. I've cancelled now as I have had one box for each season and whilst it's nice to receive them, I really don't need more! I might look to do it again once I've reduced the stash a bit, but that would mean I'd need to stop buying samples, travel sizes and edits for a while too!

It's shiny.

i haven't yet found an SPF50 that goes on matte, if anyone has please share!

Have a look at this it's their replacement for mineral sheer screen which I have. It's essentially the same with a bit more dimethicone. I really like the sheer screen so will prob get this when I need some more. Really like this but forget the primer claims. https://www.spacenk.com/uk/sun-tan/suncare/face-spf/mineral-mattescreen-spf-30-MUK200039017.html?dwvar_MUK200039017_size=UK200041475&quantity=1

What goes on really matte is the allies of skin, it's a clear gel, it's just like primer. I wouldn't use it for exercise, it trapped heat on me but day to day this would be great and really good for men. There will also be loads on ebay/vinted as it's been in several boxes recently.

namechange0998776554799000 · 10/06/2026 10:13

I've had a supergoop SPF before and burnt really badly through it, so that put me off!

Ive seen loads of the AoS one on Vinted but the reviews aren't great so I've avoided it. Maybe I'll give it a try.

I do have a tinted LRP arriving today so maybe that will work better for me. And I've ordered the Liberty edit which has a mineral Emma Lewisham one in it.

After losing some weight recently, I suddenly noticed this morning that the stretch marks on my stomach are back with a vengeance.
Back in the day I used Bio oil but was never consistent with it so didn’t really work. Is that still the go-to or has anyone used something better?

I’m watching the replies to this with interest. I’ve tried the clarins stretch mark cream which is well reviewed but it’s expensive and just seems to effective as normal body cream.🤷‍♀️

I’m loving this which sits beautifully under makeup. Still road testing but can report that I’ve sat out in sun for quite a while with no issues (red hair, white / glow in the dark skin)

Also a fan of the Roche Posay oil control spf50 cream in squeeze tube with pump (although I hate the runny lotion in a bottle)

Weirdly I’ve had 2x perfumes deleted from vinted today.
Annoying as I don’t want either and I’ve previously sold quite a few perfumes with no issues.
