Anyone tried hyaluronic acid filler for changes to the outer labia?

Doreknocker · 22/05/2026 16:54

Almost 50 and my outer labia are getting a bit deflated.

Can get uncomfortable in tight trousers and also it doesnt look as nice as it used to - have had laser hair removal all over so it does show.

Any insight or recommendations foe intimate filler - I would want hyaluronic acid not fat transfer.....?

Im in London.

Christ. Women aren’t allowed to age at all, in any way. I despair

Except this IS the way this particular woman WANTS to age.

It's bad enough that men place expectations on how women should age, without other women doing it too, Just from the opposite direction.

True freedom is ageing however WE choose - not how someone else, male or female, thinks we should.

I still don't think the op is for real

Does labia modelling pay well? Asking for a friend.

I don’t think anyone would pay to look at mine! I don’t even like looking at it 😂.

This is the funniest post I have read for ages! You’ve got to love Mumsnet!

My gynae friend gets on his soapbox about topical oestrogen cream. He says all women over 40 should be using it to save their twats and flaps.

what happens to your twats & flaps without it?

Atrophy, genito-urinary problems like incontinence and UTIs, pain during sex, itching…

It helps keep our vulvas and vaginas healthy, and also supports the urethra and bladder.

I went on a horse riding weekend with my friend (we’re both early 50s). Her labia were bleeding after day one. She had to see her GP when she got home. She’s now using vaginal oestrogen cream. Its benefits are not promoted enough.

I am NOT Googling this , I have learned my lesson many years ago (Dragon Butter )

I have no plans to have anything injected into my face and certainly not my labia !

Squirrel trotting off to Google

I am late 50s and have never looked at or thought about my outer labia.

Are you an outer labia model ?

Oh for heavens sake. Labia fillers are not a feminist win and we don't need to rah rah YOU GO GIRL to everything a woman does.

Atrophy

@SummerMadnessBegins @ladyrinths some women can experience shrinkage (as per OP), micro tears, splits, loss of sensation, bladder issues… Atrophy, as @9YearsOfPain says. I am sorry to be the one who intrudes you to the words vaginal+atrophy in the same sentence. Menopause is the gift that keeps on giving!

I'd need a full general if a needle was coming anywhere near mine

I had my clitoris injected to help improve sensitivity and also improve bladder weakness last summer!!.....can't say it helped massively.....not worth the money or pain let's put it that way! (I did have numbing cream but it was still a bit OMG!!)

Completely agree, it should be promoted more.

Lifesyoungdream · 22/05/2026 19:19

I was wondering how the op saw her labia did she bend over and look or did she use a mirror. Can’t believe I’m asking this 😀

Sounds painful.

What does it help with please?? I'm 52 and don't use it...

Sorry....just seen post above. I don't have pain during sex or itching but maybe it could help with the bladder issue (especially when sneezing 💦) 🙈
Thanks for posting this! I'll be asking my GP about that for sure! X

Thank you / i haven't laughed as much since the Sistine Chapel post

TroysMammy · 22/05/2026 19:33

Let's change a few words of this song to:-

Do your flaps hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them in a bow?
Can you throw them over your shoulder like regimental soldier?
Do your flaps hang low?

Do your flaps hang low?
Can you swing 'em to and fro?
Can you tie 'em in a knot?
Can you tie 'em in a bow?
Do you get a painful feeling?
When you throw 'em at the ceiling
Do your flaps hang low?

Do your flaps hang low?
Can you swing 'em to and fro?
Can you tie 'em in a knot?
Can you tie 'em in a bow?
Do they get real sore?
When you drag 'em cross the floor
Do your flaps hang low?

JulietteHasAGun · 22/05/2026 19:35

I am 50 and can’t say I’ve noticed my flaps have changed. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Even if they did I wouldn’t be injecting anything

Before your GP visit you might like to know about the two formats local oestrogen comes in.

Vagifem (tiny pessaries that you insert) are best for bladder issues. Put them about halfway up to ‘align’ with the bladder and keep the oestrogen closest to where it’s needed.

You can also get a cream which can be used internally (bit messy) and / or externally all over the vulva including clitoris.

Oh! ‘Clitoral atrophy’ is another horrible sentence to read. But yeah. That can also happen.

Glitterbiscuits · 22/05/2026 19:37

Remember the anal bleaching thread? Could this be the same person?

I had no idea labia “enhancement “ was a thing. Every day is a school day.

Have you considered molding your own OP? Play Dough? Air Drying clay?

I made the mistake of googling this. I came across a set of before and after pictures! There was a picture from behind and in the after she looked like she had testicles!
