Wedding Guest Outfit - BOLD dress code

Wedding in August. Garden wedding, not going to be huge but one half is Irish.

I'm planning on wearing some gold block heels (no stilettos becuase of the garden).

The dress code is BOLD. Now, I'm more of a classic wedding guest dresser so this has thrown me a bit.

I'm 5'4'', blonde balayage hair, blue eyes (do not suit purples, yellows or orange). Late 30's, size 12-14 with a bit of a mum-tum.

I know some people hate dress codes, but they are such a fun couple that I really want to do the dress code proud and have some fun.

The jumpsuit fits the bill fine. I like it.

I too like the jumpsuit. I don't like the dresses. That pink disco ball dress has no support. (I ask because I absolutely can't even have a strapless bra without my boobs bouncing off my knees!)

John Lewis have a sale currently but nearly all their jumpsuits are also nylon. What is it with UK clothing that its all plastic! Sorry I'm no help, but a hopeful bump to someone that can.

I also hate dress codes like this… just let people dress how they like for gods sake, especially when it’s so open to interpretation.

I think the exact opposite! 🤣 The jumpsuit is garish imo and the cut looks huge and silly. Option 1 Asos is fun but opportunities to wear it will be limited. I think Option 2 Asos is GORGEOUS!

I’d wear what you want and say that you decided to be bold and ignore the dress code!

Oasis have some nice bold colour dresses in.
For that dress code, if I wasn't used to wearing bold colours, then I'd probably go for one bright colour dress & a clashing handbag & shoes.

That jumpsuit is bold. I don’t think you can go much bolder than that.
I prefer the last dress but maybe that’s not bold enough.
