Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

@BakeOffRewatch it was via the new Sparks offers that someone mentioned. I rarely shop at M&S except for undies and basics, and never use my sparks card,so I wasn’t expecting much, but I had £10 points back on £30 fashion and beauty spend. The annoying part is that I spend an absolute bloody fortune at JL and really wanted to get the current box, but they haven’t given me any incentive and so I’m refusing (for now….)!

@BakeOffRewatch i think the £10 is dependent on what the Sparks card randomiser has given out!

So unsurprisingly my cult beauty sun edit hasn't arrived. I'm tempted to ask them to just refund me for it. I had planned to sell the medik8 and the longer time goes on, the more awash with them vinted will become 😮‍💨

Thanks @MerylSqueak 🙏 I nearly got a bit overexcited then realised that mostly the prices are pretty much the same as you can get via the CB 20% discount codes. Plus I bought a bloody enormous bottle of the niacimide serum from SK for just £5, and (I think) a tub of the face mask (but haven’t opened my delivery yet so can’t remember….), and I just bought a new BoJ eye cream from CB last week. so I really really can’t justify any more BoJ stuff right now!

This has reminded me I was putting away my holiday purchases a few days ago and realised I’d bought the BoJ eye patches twice without realising, both in my stash box 😅

I keep seeing ads for Violette makeup, mostly from Oh My Cream. I've never bought from them before. Do you rate the brand?

ACs helped me to break my subscription box habit (too many dr paw paw lip glosses!).
I buy two at the beginning of the year and open a door each week. Gives me something to look forward to and stops me buying all the things. Still have too many lip glosses, though

@namechange0998776554799000 I love the Bisou Balms. They’re probably my most worn lip product. I have three but the shade Bêtise is a staple (I’m wearing it now actually!). I haven’t tried anything else though.

@IlovePond yes, SK has arrived!! I’ve not opened it yet, as I want to take my time and have been flat out since it got here yesterday. And thanks for asking about the PP fiasco: I think that is pretty much sorted too. SK were really good about it. Next time I’ll just use my CC!

Oh this is genius! I’m definitely doing this next year.

I think the texture might be marmite but I love them. The colour pay off is good (and buildable) but they are very flat so don’t feel like you’re wearing anything, but I don’t find them drying either. They definitely have a bit of an ‘blurring’ affect too. Even if I’m not wearing any other makeup I often dab Bêtise on to give me a bit of colour.

New next beauty box £20

@MrsDahliaTravers, thanks for the boots SPF box tip. Alas, after researching all the contents last night and finding all but one good, I was dithering (do I really need more SPF??) ... and then decided to definitely go for it this morning, but the offer is gone 😩

I love the price point of these next boxes! I’ve had that shower gel a while ago. It seemed to be in a few gwp’s/edits etc and it was lovely so that might tempt me to go for this.

I know this is meant to be for beauty, but can anyone help a girl out please? Does anyone have a code for Gap please? 😃

Day off today so went for an amble round the shops. I tried all the LE velatura balms in space nk. Came home with rose madder, it’s gorgeous. Hellebore was a little too dark and wouldn’t use it on lips. Meeting the ex was lovely but might get that in the winter as quite pale, maybe Black Friday discount will call!
my new Zoeva liners have arrived the lavender is fabulous, so pleased with it. The ice is lovely but not quite in the same league.
