Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

My Boots did have the Fwee but not a proper display or testers. I got Without because I remember liking it in Thailand and the silicone brush. I’m excited to try it!

So Cult Beauty are saying evri have it and will deliver it today, but according to tracking it's still at Cult Beauty 🤔 Neither are trustworthy so I'm not sure who to believe 🤣 I'm inclined to believe evri as my delivery lady usually comes in the morning, normally right when I have my team meeting 🙈

I also really like the MZ Skin Bio-Placenta Stem Cell Serum (it’s only been two days but I’m convinced my skin is looking better already!), so I’ve ordered another Easter Mystery Bundle. Tempted to order another. Is four too much?

@JoRaRaRa I’m having delivery issues with look fantastic and evri. LF CS are hopeless and unhelpful. Hopefully it’s just the Hut Group and Evri incompetence for you and not a ban!

I paid more for it, unfortunately and it went down as low as $11 in the sale but this is a good price.

Me too - I've got 2 of the serums, one from the mystery bundle and one from the birthday edit. Birthday edit was decent too - but they gave me a random invite for £10 off it which convinced me. I'm holding out for another one!

I love the MZ serum too but I currently have 130 ml of it in total and a bunch of other serums patiently waiting their turn. So as much as I'm tempted to get more I think I only will if it gets reduced further.

It's not one I can allow myself to enjoy too much and become a staple because I'm never going to purchase at RRP.

I have 150ml 😬 and a good few Medik8 Clarity Peptides which I also like but don’t think yielded as good results. I should probably be sensible and only buy if discounted further as well.

I love the Fwee lip brush, it feels lovely! I wonder why they don’t make more silicone brushes.

I keep meaning to buy one of those silicone brushes you can paint on face masks with.

Ooh my JL parcel has arrived! I’m really impressed with the contents of the radiance box, obviously I knew what was in it but properly looking at the items it’s a real bargain, especially as I got 10% off with my rewards.

I like the Elizabeth Scarlett x Elemis set, but it has a label stitched on the back of the ES bag with the collab names printed on, which I feel cheapens it. Plus I was in 2 minds whether to sell it on to recoup some of the money, which is less likely now.

I had buyers remorse about the Lancôme Génifique set, but now it’s arrived I think I’ll keep it, it’s a bargain for what it is, and something I can put away for later in the year (once I’ve started using my Lancôme holiday bag/set).

My itch to spend has now been scratched 😅

As someone else commented, the CB edit is really only worth it for the Medik8 serum. Everything else is basically minis. “Deluxe” sizes are a joke. Definitely worth it for one, as the £10 voucher stacked with the code, and shipping was free, but I wouldn’t rush to buy another. That said, I’ve not had time to look properly, and there were a few things I’m keen to try, so it may be better value than I’m giving it credit for. Nice to have a solid box for a change, too.

M&S glow edit I’m less sure about but girl maths says it’s good value for £20 since they’re giving me £10 point back on the £30 spend. I regularly purchase a few of the items, like the Nuxe oil, for summer, and I’ll pass on the other bits to my DDs.

@Fillybuster - your SK has arrived? Have you had any luck with your refunds from PayPal?

So I am safe from the lure of the Dior glosses - I already knew I couldn’t use the maximiser.

Dior actually has a warning about tingling on their lip maximiser, (which is better than a lot of companies manage). They have obviously had complaints in the past, because there is this helpful warning:

Hazardous
External use on non-irritated lips only. Avoid all contact with the eyes. In case of irritation other than a mild prickling sensation or localised heat linked to the product, discontinue use.
