Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

Do you think we are getting a Harrods May GWP? There's no sign yet.

I checked BD site and last year's was posted 1st May. 2024 was posted 6th May. 2023 was 2nd May.

It is odd. They are usually released around the bank holiday. I have a basket waiting. They have taken down the 20% off beauty offer now so I was hoping that would mean the gwp is anytime now.

I've been suprised at the lack of beauty deals lately, anyone else? I am more into fragrances but not seeing many of those either. Usually liberty do a frag edit/kit or if not frag a more general beauty kit in a lovely bag. Instead they want people to spend £££ to get a crappy GWP with stuff we have all seen before.
Feels like we are in beauty purgatory with a few months before the advent calendars start to be released (to me now they are a sign that summer has come to an end)

It could still be next week but that would be later than usual.

I've noticed too. That's not a bad thing in the sense I haven't bought much recently but I'm feeling a little starved of an edit or gwp that feels exciting. First world problems I know.

I was hoping to get the Harrods gwp in store next week as a birthday treat.

im wondering if anyone has spent their £25 off £100 cult beauty birthday offer? It seems impossible to use it on anything, everything seems excluded unless of course there is an issue with the code.

I was hoping to buy some make up but because they have 20% off makeup at the moment the. It can’t be used 🙈 can’t be used with any of the edits….. I’m running out of ideas.

That is nice. I'm not inspired by the contents though. Too many travel sizes of things I don't need. I know that applies to the Harrods gwp if it releases but I was maybe going to buy something in Harrods anyway.

Does it work on full priced items? I assume that's what they want you to do. I haven't been sent mine yet but I guess I'll be in the same predicament.

I used mine when they had 20% off everything on the app and it worked, I bought a variety of different things. I guess that offer must have been different to when they have sale items/20% off specific things. I know it didn't stack with any of the usual codes

I’ve tried a few things which it also doesn’t seem to work on. They have sent me this massive list of exclusions anything that has a free gift, discounted, edits, exclusive, New and cult conscious seems to be excluded which is pretty much the entire shop. It isn’t feeling like a gift atm esp with such a high minimum spend.

I was expecting it to go live as soon as the up to 20% off deal was over. Hopefully it arrives soon. I've got a feeling that it's going to be pants though 😕

I'm really sad that Liberty aren't taking their duty as makng my life happier by releasing more edits/kits more seriously - in the past there would be a decent perfume edit a few times a year and some good beauty edits inbetween. All decent price and including a lovely wash bag. Now they are nowhere to be seen, and the fragrance kits with 4 minis for £75 and no bag are a pale imitation. It's like they've got a certain amount of sales/new custom out of it and now they are not even trying.

Thanks for the FtF info/discount, I’ve gone for the May edit. I’ve still not gone ahead with the AB one, as much as I’m tempted, I was irked at not being able to use my credit towards it.

I love that bag with the oh my cream edit. I’ve never bought anything from them (the name has always put me off!) - are there any codes for it? I’ve been reasonably restrained recently so could be tempted!
I did buy this last week and am delighted with it, both products are perfect as are the shades. The lip gloss is so flattering and non sticky and long lasting! I love this so much am almost tempted to buy another which doesn’t ever happen!
