Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

I've just ordered with code, stupid question but did you put 15 first? I kept trying EDIT15 and didn't click that I'd put it the wrong way round for ages!

You guys are so knowledgeable! So the unidentified items must be worth just under £209, and one of them is £155. We just don’t know what they are.

I forgot about the EGF serum! I see absolutely no reason not to order so that’s what I’m going to do right this second.

How are you using the EGF, night time, I've got one from a CB box but haven't found a way to integrate yet, mostly due to having too many items. And do you rate it?

@HicuppingI use mine in the morning as a last step. On the basis that it is a temporary fix as opposed to a long term continuous improvement or prevention product. In my head it is supposed to be like hyaluronic acid on steroids. But I might be wrong. I should confess I never see any improvements when using any kind of hyaluronic acid. Possibly because I don’t suffer with dry skin. This is no different for me but it makes me feel expensive. And I only use 1 drop and follow up with a hydrating toner.

@Hicupping I try to do a weekly reset night, usually a Sunday and use the bioeffect egf serum as part of that routine. I’ll exfoliate first, then go in with a clay mask for a deeper clean, followed by a sheet mask for hydration. Then finish with the EGF serum 💁🏻‍♀️

I couldn't be without it, I think it's amazing for calming and rebalancing the skin, especially if you’ve been using actives during the week like I do. I keep the rest of the routine simple at the end, if my skin needs it, I'll add a night cream but sometimes the serum is fine on its own.

I also use it if at anytime my skin is sensitive or has reacted to something, even after things like getting my brows done, it’s so good for bringing everything back to normal. It's also great if you get sunburnt 🙂

I asked chatgpt to identify some of the products and said what we thought they were. It agreed that the blue packet is beautypro eye masks but said that the purple cylinder is unlikely to be summer Fridays and that the Philip Kingsley was more likely to be an SPF 🙈🤣

So the only one I don’t see as explained is the fuschia pink with silver lid item to the left of the EFG serum. Tiny! Maybe that is the one worth £155.

Had a look at environs for the pink thing as they use similar colour but no success

Just received an email from SNK reminding me that I’m not that far from the deluxe membership. Hidden (well I nearly missed it) in the email was a code for free twin set of tatcha moisturiser with no minimum spend. It said it was exclusively for me but I know I’m not that special so it might be worth checking your emails a bit closer just in case.

I have 1 more day to spend my cult beauty birthday £25 off. They have taken 20% off the hourglass and WA edits. Which with my £25 off makes them much more tempting but I’m a bit torn about which one to go with. What are people’s thoughts?

I just picked up my k-beauty order and I have to say I’m impressed by the packaging/size of the Needling cleansing wipes. I was expecting them to be the same size as all the other circular wipes but they’re much bigger, and there’s a little plastic pair of tweezers in the lid to pick them out! If they’re any good at getting makeup off they may be a new staple.

I'd probably go for the WA over HG but it's personal preference I guess.

@Beautyfox - I am so annoyed with myself- I saw a SNK email just now in spam and deleted it without thinking. I could have sworn I saw a reference to Tatcha 🙈

I send all the emails from beauty retailers into spam to try to stop myself spending, but usually I give them a cursory glance every now and then. Oh well, it’s not like I need anything else.

Oh no! Easily done. I nearly missed it. Maybe they will send something bigger and better next time to tempt you more….

This is specifically on selected products (New In) - there are quite a few that have been mentioned on here though, eg the Violette Fr plume eyeshadows, but not their lip products.

FtF luxe mystery bundle arrived - confirmed AB Rich Cream (15ml), and Rodial Vit C drops (31ml). Very pleased, I'll definitely use both!

Also a sample from Environ.

It doesn’t work with the Plume eye shadows. I don’t think it works on Beauty at all.

@keepincool - thanks for thinking of me. Unfortunately, I think with gmail, once emails have gone, they’ve gone! I’m not too bothered, as I have so much moisturiser to get through already. I really don’t need any more. (But I do like a GWP!)

However, I have some FitFlops arriving tomorrow, so am looking forward to that - hopefully at least one pair will fit! I had to throw away several pairs of ancient, disintegrating ones recently, so actually do need replacements! (They’ve got so expensive, though!)
