Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

I don't think I'll use them. I have rosacea so I have to be careful with vit c. I'll probably sell them.

I need a new cleanser and have decided to buy one from CB with some new samples from their perfume offer. I've been using balms all winter but now it's spring, I'm thinking of a cleansing oil. I've have loved the Elemis and Votary ones in the past and I'm tempted by the Beauty of Joseon one - has anyone tried it? And what does it smell of? Thanks x

I think you are right there. If you zoom in on the image, you can actually see the gold and blue AB bottle so pretty certain that is one of the products. I am tempted to buy but do I need yet another moisturiser? 🤔

It's probably not really worth getting excited about, I am loving my decree and mz serums so probably not good to change anything while this is working!

@BakeOffRewatch i have the congested thing with every sunscreen, but k/ j beauty ones seem to be the least bad. Piz buin face was ok.

I try to properly double cleanse and use a bha/aha on the worst bits. Combination skin. Stick sunscreen is the worst.

BUT nice work on CB calendar-I thought of it was totally useable as well as being exciting!

JL finally gave me a £10 off £60 beauty spend offer, so I guess it would be rude not to buy the beauty box I’ve had in my basket for a month. Although now I have my SK order and my CB and Debenham’s edits (muiltples!), I’m not sure how much I need it. But I’ve got £70 vouchers to use up, and I’ll use both the medik8 and the Clarins moisturisers over time, so I guess we all know what’s going to happen here.

@Fillybuster The Easter bundle is the MZ Bio Placenta and Stem Cell Serum + Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream. It’s the Luxe bundle which is speculated to be AB and Rodial.

If any SNK or Sephora employees lurk here can I please request the websites add a feature that tells you whether you've already reviewed a product. I tend to go back and do a few in one go a few weeks later when I've had time to use stuff but I lose track with what I already reviewed.

Next time I get a survey I must remember to add this as feedback.

@OvaHere I’m certain I had a Meteorites compact many years ago! Might still have it somewhere.

I love meteorites but for the fact that the little balls are always jumping uo and escaping out of the pot when you put the brush in. Although I've defended to givenchy prisme libre now so should be ok...

I'm not actually sure it will work as well as the little balls but the case is lovely. I don't need one! 😂

I think this is what I’ll have to do as well but double cleansing everyday 🥱

I acquired a lot of cleansers so this is a perverse way of going through a stash of them

i do like a nice cleanser, I tend to prefer an oil or cream based one. I love this Lancôme cleanser and I use the toner when using my Foreo Bear, it’s a thicker consistency than most toners. Good price for this set in Boots

I like both these too.

My Violette FR Plume eye shadow arrived. It’s really pretty. Sheer (but buildable) slightly pearlized base with lots of sparkles. I only swatched it in my had but I’m excited to try it properly! I’ve got my eye on a few other colours but want to make sure it wears well. On the flip side, I don’t like the packaging though and I think it is expensive for what it is.

Just a note to check all the contents if you haven't already, my late purchased one had an item missing and a duplicate of something else. Lots of doors with multiple items too so not as easy to tell if something is missing 😊

The boots recycling scheme is super easy to use, if you're sorting through your stuff anyway you might as well upload them as you go (doesn't have to be in groups of 5 or anything, just scan the lot). I have a bag in my car boot with my accepted empties in so I can just grab 5 any time I'm going into boots without thinking 😊

Agree - I just throw handful into the blister pack collection point and click 5. As I wear 60 contact lenses a month, I'm never going to run out 😆
