Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

I panic bought several serums the other day because I discovered I only had three unopened ones left in the stash cupboard 😆

@BakeOffRewatch I dream of achieving that…. #lifegoals 😂 Actually, it’s not impossible: regular moisturiser feels like one of the few things that doesn’t show up frequently in edits. That said, I appear to have 7 different day creams on the go at the moment, most of which are on the fuller side. So it’s unlikely….

@BakeOffRewatch I dream of becoming an anti-stasher but my never ending and continually replenished stash tells me this isn’t a possibility.

@BakeOffRewatch in December I ran out of cleanser. I do however have a blusher that’s about 12 years old, so swings and roundabouts.

It was the Iconic Smoke TF quad. It's so pretty but I'm going to have to play with it a bit as two of the shadows are very dark and one is quite sparkly... But I couldn't just leave it there, obviously.

My parents were anti-stashers (but also somehow hoarders of nothing useful!) so we always ran out of toiletries as teenaged girls, which has ensured that I re-buy at least 3 of something if I like it and panic if I'm down to 1 or 2 spare 🤦🏻‍♀️

I saw that one, I was so tempted by it but I haven’t done the smoky look for a long time and can’t say I was ever particularly good at it. I’d like to try again some time but for now I am generally drawn to pinks and purples with the odd green thrown in for St Patrick’s day 😁

Thank You Farmer sunscreens are half price in the Boots Two for Tuesday. I’ve had the shimmery (pink tube) one before and liked it so I’ve ordered one of each.

@user593 - Thanks for the DF tip at Boots. I have been meaning to try some of their products so am giving the pink shimmer a go.

I also ordered a couple of Boots lip balms to get the free Vitamin C serum.

When I go to collect I am going to try to use the recycling scheme for the first time.

Am I right in thinking that you deposit five items after using the QR code, then have a couple of minutes to get to the till and £10, then you get £5 of points added?

My second StyleKorean order arrived yesterday.

I don’t know what I was thinking - I wanted the green lucky box, but when it was sold out, I seem to have ordered the most random collection of items just because they were reduced.

I just stared at it all in disbelief, dazzled by my own ordering incompetence - will be having a Google later, as I don’t even know what half of it is used for 🙀

I persuaded my DH to buy the JL box as he likes the vitamin E moisturiser and needed some spf. I said he could get the box for those 2 things and I would have the rest. Seems a good deal 😁

Mmm- interesting - not beauty but: I ignored my new Sparks ‘offer’ to spend £120 on womenswear to get £24 in credit and they have now sent me £6 off £30, which is much more appealing.

Anyone else had an improved offer after ignoring M&S’ first attempts to get us to spend lots?

more and more these boxes are a mish mash of stuff that it seems the retailers can't get rid of. I mean, I accept that's one of their aims but they could at least make an effort for it not to seem quite so. Space NK is another offender...

I agree, it's an odd bundle, but I do like quite a few items from it and will keep most of it 🙂

Well, I have had another look at my random SK order and am feeling a bit less annoyed with myself. I bought two massively reduced BoJ serums to try, (why two?) a hand cream, a lip balm and - for some reason - yet another Aromatica hair product.

The reason I didn’t remember the rest was because it was all heavily discounted- between $1-$2 - so I had just thrown it into the basket.

This has resulted in a full size moisturiser, a cushion foundation, (looking forward to trying that), and some super expensive fancy spot patches that will be going on eBay!

Btw: My skin is really liking some random Korean serum I picked up ages ago in TKMAXX - I am using it up as I found it hiding in my stash, just before its expiry.

It is so soft and silky - I hope the BoJ ones are similar, (although I also have a Tocobo and a From Rice one to use as well!)

I’ve also rediscovered a Daiso push up brown eye pencil bought for about 50p last October. Unfortunately it’s short-dated, (didn’t check when I bought it), but I am reasonably sure it will be ok a bit past its expiry.

It’s so lovely and a good replacement for an expensive one that broke recently.

I have asked DS2 to get me another, but am not hopeful.
