Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

It’s nice that these look like full sizes which seems to be getting rarer. However £200 seems such a lot. The random 15% off codes that are always displayed on the website don’t work against it either. I agree this would need to be at the £100- 120 price point to tempt me.

OK! I’m going in for a Stylevana order! I’ve got a code for 12% off orders over £35 and currently have 2 spf face spray mists in my basket!

Anything I must try? I have got a lot of kbeauty but open to suggestions!

I don’t know, somewhere among the random stuff there might be a magic cream that makes you look 20 years that you wouldn’t have ordered previously.
Obviously this could be a problem if you are only 25 now. 😂

I know you will all appreciate that it was a good use of my time to spend, (at least), 10 minutes customising this whilst getting in touch with my inner child 🙈

About flaming time! Unfortunately for them I'm now second guessing 🤔 I mainly want the virtue and some of that filler really is pants

@TragicMuse I’m totally new to this whole K beauty thing (first SK order arrived last week) but a friend tells me was scammed using Stylevana. Obviously, please ignore me if you’ve used them previously.

I’ve gone for insurance and only spent £30. So fingers crossed it works out ok…

Also @IlovePond im totally overwhelmed by the contents of the Mint besties box: there’s so much in there that I have no idea how to use! In fact, I’ve still not unpacked anything apart from all the other stuff that I bought at the same time (including more BoJ niacimide serum, which I love, and the rice and honey mask that @OvaHere recommends). I’ve got a nice quiet BH weekend coming up, so am planning to spend some time sorting through it all with Google and Chat to come up with a proper plan!!

We use Copilot AI system at work and it really helps me with non work stuff!

I have a spreadsheet logging my mountainous beauty hall and it has given me some good recommendations. I can feed the Mint besties products in and ask for recommendations based on your particular skin concerns if you want?

I’ve used ai to sort the contents of my SK Pharmacy box! Really looking forward to getting to use it all!

@keepincool & @TragicMuse can I ask please: did you upload photos or manually list everything? I have a full copilot license at work but I’ve been using chat free version for beauty stuff.

I have my spreadsheet in my personal onedrive folder with K-Beauty products listed on it's own sheet (I tend to copy and paste the list of SK beauty box products from the Beauty Detective site if she has advertised it) - I'm happy to share my mint box spreadsheet with you to start you off?

I then ask CoPilot something like the following and link CP to the spreadsheet:

"Create a K-Beauty regime for me based on the attached spreadsheet - Are there any standout products listed?"

Then CP gave me a morning and pm routine and listed a few good products - it was really good, not that I've actually got round to taking up the suggestions yet

A spreadsheet sounds like a good idea actually as something to build alongside - at the moment I’ve been loading lists of everything I have open & closed along with some specific goals & photos of my skin. I’ve got the full list of the box from the site, it’s more all the other stuff in my stash….!!!

That sounds like a good idea @Fillybuster - think I will do similar with the pink Besties box, which I have not yet put away.

I am forward to using my Takohotchi inspired hand cream at some point, but atm it is just sitting on my side table by the sofa looking super cute!

In the meantime, I am using up the ‘is it off/does it just smell off?’ Liberty BD Grown Alchemist hand cream just so I can say I didn’t waste it.

Oh, btw, I have just started using the Grow Gorgeous shampoo and it’s leaving my hair very soft. I must get onto using the serum too so I can see if it miraculously causes instant regrowth!

I added a list of stuff to a prompt, then refined it with my skin type etc. it’s told me that a couple of things probably won’t benefit me as much (so I might sell them) and has been really clear about limiting the actives etc.

I’m feeling a bit fed up with Chat GPT right now. It gives contradictory / conflicting advice for no apparent reason to the extent that it starts being quite hard to work out whether any of it is actually true. As an example, it’s gone from recommending using Medik8 peptides serum after retinol in the evenings to telling me that is a pointless thing to do 🤨 Anyway, thanks for listening to me grumble!

I asked chatgpt for a London travel plan for 23rd May coming back on Sunday..It confidently told me that 23rd is a Friday and planned a weekend in London,coming back on Sunday. When pointed out it just said you are right,sorry its less time for you then. Bloody useless.
