Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

I'm going to resist the jarrolds bag in the hope that look fantastic get their 💩 together and release the new season edit soon. Is it too much to ask that they release the edit they've been teasing for what feels like months now? (I know months is a slight exaggeration 🤣)

I’ve just tried the Bare Minerals mauve blush/highlighter that I unearthed a few days ago. It’s lovely!

Has anyone used the AB Rich eye cream that came in the Liberty AC? How did you find it over a period of time?

I've just started using it after finishing the MZ eye cream. I'm surprised how runny and emollient it is, it looks thick in the pot but sort of melts when applied.

I'm not sure what I think of it yet. I was definitely expecting a different consistency.

Does seem to be poorly packaged, tube would have been better and more sanitary. I'm not thrilled with it. I keep stopping and starting I get red marks at top of cheeks if I apply too much.

The ab eye was too rich/heavy for me x

Agree the packaging doesn't quite work. Pumps or tubes are my preferred packaging with eye creams but so many do come in jars.

It seems nice when it's soaked in but that takes a little while. I have 2 of them to use as I bought one from Vinted, then my friend gave me one.

I was expecting it to be richer and heavier. 😂

I found the MZ one I've just finished more so.

I wasn't sure if I liked the AB Rich Cream when I first tried it then I loved it after a while so I'll give this one time.

My SK parcel arrived yesterday, 3kg😱I think I may have slightly over ordered, I’ve now got 7 SPFs😬 and lots of serums ( including 3 centella ampoules!) as well as lots of other stuff, I’m not sure how many faces I thought I had when I ordered 🤣

Weirdly, they’ve released it in France and Germany, but not here.

I'm reluctantly using the AB from the Liberty AC. I don't like it, it also seems to last forever. I should have expected it really, as most things in beauty boxes and AC are not bestsellers, those things sell alone at full price. Although the Barbara Sturm eye cream in the 2023 Vogue AC was amazing. I possibly had high hopes for the AB cream, as the brand gets mentioned on here quite a bit. I wouldn't rush to use any of their other products.

I quite like the AB eye cream but only because it doesn't sting my eyes. I have an Estée Lauder one that makes my eyes water. I don't think it's made any difference to my eye area though.

Yes, I use mz one on a morning and the ab one on a night. I really like both of them. I think I prefer the texture of the ab one though.

I found it too oily. I don’t get too many pimples these days but after a week using the ab cream one appeared by my eye. Disappointed as the ab eye patches work wonders for me. Using the rest as an expensive décolletage cream. Hoping for better results with the caudalie and banana bright from the SNK AC. Also have the Medik8 crystal eye from Sephora still to try.

I didn’t like the MZ eye cream at first, but now it’s growing on me. I won’t repurchase it as it’s ridiculously expensive. but am enjoying using it.

I am planning on using the AB next, even though I have others in the wings, just because it isn’t sealed and I would hate for it to ‘go off’, given how expensive it is.

The liberty advent calendar from 2024 I'd ordered on Ebay arrived. Disappointingly it is not full and unopened, with some things missing and some things used. So that's going back. Seller must be stupid to think I don't know exactly what should be in there.

Ordered some things off SNK whilst double points which should come today, to ease the disappointment.

Sorry to hear that. Why do they do it? Slight aside, but it made me think of someone selling one they’d refilled on Vinted a few weeks ago. I’m sure it was up for over £100. When I asked if they were planning to upload pics of the contents, they said “no, it’s a surprise”.

@IDontHateRainbows Oh that’s such a shame, and really poor of them to sell it without stating that things are tested/missing.
Hopefully you’ll be able to pick up another one soon. I suspect some might appear towards advent season.

I haven’t purchased anything from SNK, I looked but I have everything I want. And last night I was looking for my scent edits and found another box with the I Do edit, a Milk primer and a Lisa Eldridge lipgloss, plus a GWP that I’d forgotten about 🙈😅
I don’t need to buy anything for a while, I just need to go shopping in my house 😅

I love the AB rich cream and get so many compliments about my skin when I wear it, but I use it on top of my usual skincare - it seems to leave me with a pearlescent glow. Are there any other (cheaper) products that do this? MZ rich cream gives me a similar pearlescent glow but is also super spendy.

Haha, that is so cheeky! The surprise is that it’s all rubbish that they got from GWP/edits and can’t be bothered to sell separately

I’m sure that Vinted don’t allow the sale of ACs, so they are lucky the listing hasn’t been removed
