Ballerina trainers advice needed

I'm in love with the trainers in a ballerina style. However I can only find designer ones or puma and past experience with puma has given me shredded heels. Has anyone bought a pair that isn't designer or has soft backs.

I get the converse ones every year, I think they’re called dance

Can we see the ones you like? There are loads of these around though. Try Adidas and Zara for a start.

I’ve got the puma ones and they have a huge cushion on the heel- they are so comfy!

Adidas have a few styles - Taekwondo Mei & Sambas, the Mary Jane-type ones.

If you don’t care about branding, I’ve seen these in New Look, Stradivarius and M&S recently.

I have the Adidas Barrera Mary Jane’s, which I bought from Next. The green ones. I love them!

I have the speedcats and they are fine, as mentioned they have a cushioned heel.

Another vote for the speedcats - the the heel is very padded, far more so than in the trainers.

There was a great thread on these a few weeks back. Have a look there for some ideas.

We ordered the speedcats, adidas samba Jane and adidas Barrera. The speedcats were def the most comfortable.

I love the onitsuka tiger ones but soooo expensive and look really uncomfortable.

Are any of these good for a wider fit/bunions?

Another vote for Adidas Taekwondo. They're mega comfy and are on sale in most places at the moment.

In love with my Puma Speedcat they are so cute and comfy and no socks needed 😎

Other model of Pumas might have a different heel that your foot will be ok with.

Try google Mary Jane trainers, you get a much wider selection than what ballerina trainers brings up.

Looks like I'll try the speedcats
