Which Gucci bag - help me choose

Calling all luxury bag lovers!

Decided to treat myself due to pay rise. I have a couple of small Gucci bags already but I'm looking for something more practical that I can use for travel which will fit my kindle and essentials. These two are a similar size but the big price difference is swaying me. Help me choose? (Don't tell me to use a carrier bag or buy a bench...)

what about one along these lines? More practical for travel, no?

I had an LV Graceful but I gave it to my daughter. Last year I had a Longchamps le Pliage but I use that for the gym now. Have also used my LV Pochette Metis for travel.

The La k of shoulder strap on the Ophidia is a deal breaker for me but I’m not much for the other one either.

I think I’d look at LV & if it’s out of budget look at Preloved.

I covet a Loewe, I love those bags.

I have the Loewe puzzle bag and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone for an everyday. I’ve had mine for five years and use it everyday. It’s light, secure, still looks brand new and holds a huge amount. I wasn’t sure when my husband bought it for me as it isn’t quite my usual style but it’s been worth every penny.

Yes but people's who know bags won't assume fake because they're familiar with the products and know what quality looks like.

I’ve got a Puzzle too, and agree it’s excellent.
Really robust (I use it every day and do not baby it, yet it still looks great) and holds so much stuff. I love it.
But, it doesn’t have obvious logos so might not suit the op.

This thread is not helping at all on my mission to resist a puzzle

Much as I understand people who love such a bag I can't understand why it would be of any concern what others thought of the bags logo.
It literally wouldn't enter my mind & to be fair if I feel like buying an expensive quality bag without the price tag I visit TK Maxx

I would choose the second Gucci bag, it’s so lively and can be worn in different ways. Also like the LV.

The bucket bag is more trendy right now and practically you can fit more into it. I prefer that of the two. It’s just a cooler bag.

I think I'm going for the bucket bag. I've measured my kindle and it'll fit, I'll just have to jenga everything else in around it. I'm not a large bag person.

I prefer the shape of the bucket bag. However, the lack of zip is a good point. The shoulder one is a classic shape and might be a bit more practical.

Is gucci canvas as hard wearing as LV? I always get the impression that it's not (but only have LV so not a persinal experience)

This. I don’t buy bags anymore that I can’t wear over my shoulder. Feels safer too.

I've had both and yes it is - it's coated canvas.

I don't know. Dh has both Gucci canvas shoes and LV ones (but the LV are more formal so worn a lot less). They Gucci shoes seem to have held up pretty well.

I've never had a canvas one, my LV purse is leather, I looked at the canvas ones but went for leather in the end.

I have this in suede from about 3 years ago and love it for travelling
