Which Gucci bag - help me choose

Calling all luxury bag lovers!

Decided to treat myself due to pay rise. I have a couple of small Gucci bags already but I'm looking for something more practical that I can use for travel which will fit my kindle and essentials. These two are a similar size but the big price difference is swaying me. Help me choose? (Don't tell me to use a carrier bag or buy a bench...)

I hate bags with logos. I can't tell if they are real or fake bought from lucky lucky men in Spain.

I love the leowe bag. That's my favourite.

No, I don't have a Gucci store near me. Although Flannels have the ophidia, but not the hobo. I don't want the hassle of returning an expensive item.

I can tell the difference but I know what you mean. Handbag lovers can spot a fake a mile off. Plus these aren't very popular bags which tend to be the ones that are copied. I wanted a Neverful for ages but there are so many copies of those that I don't want one now.

Can you really though? With the expensive “super fakes” there are these days. I think the market has moved on since the days of Golce and Dabanna. I was watching Tanner Leotherstein dissecting a fake bag and he said he could only tell once he had opened it up.

Agree that the Neverfull is overdone. And the Goyard version of that, I always assume the ones I see are fakes.

I am enjoying this too much. You can get something really nice sub £2500 from LV or even a lovely book tote from Dior. Congrats on your promotion

Those LVs are way over budget! Didn't really want to spend more than £1500 really.

I'm all about practicality now though, having had lots of beautiful bags that just weren't practical. I love my zipped bayswater, very user friendly compared to virtually every other Mulberry.
You're not keen on Mulberry though... Have a look at Tory Burch, she's got some really nice Spring bags and colours (lovely bucket bag that imo is far nicer than the Gucci). This is the bag I personally have bookmarked (as I say, she's got lots of different styles):

I think she does a smaller version too, I like a roomy bag though! I like that it can go shoulder or cross body.

I think I might get the Gucci bucket bag. It's just so cute. My issue is I'm looking for everyday summertime combined with take all my essentials on a plane.

My head says the first one is more practical, but my heart tells my head to shut up and buy the second one.
