Toast website is not showing anything. Wonder if something new is happening?

Thanks @ToastCosILoveIt - I will check out M&S. One of my all-time favourite purchases were their lounge pants from last season - I bought two pairs in different and they are wonderfully soft for lounging around the house whilst being sort of dressed!

It’s back now. I thought it was my internet. They appear to have just shuffled things round.

I have those palazzo trousers too, @ToastCosILoveIt. The poplin makes them rustle a bit but they look fab. I’ve also got the £30 barrel legs which are nicer on me than the Cos £75 version, which billowed out like a parachute when I sat down. Per Una is doing a blouse and a shacket with Toast-like swirly appliqué and embroidery. The shacket is 100 per cent cotton, glad to say as I’m heartily sick of the polyester content creeping up so much at Marks. If I was not rubbish at these things I’d link.

I don’t really like most of their patterned tops, (although they are handy for work as they wash well), but when they have a good product, it’s really good.

I took the belt off and it’s ankle length on me at 5’4”, (short legs, long body).

I bought three pairs of their coloured cotton tights this winter. Gorgeous.
I also found an Arket wrap over skirt for £31 in the dregs of the winter sale. Beautifully finished. But I don’t think I could be prised away from Toast for jeans and pinafores. Unbeatable quality.

@IlovePond is it the Charlotte midi skirt? (Link didn’t take me to an item) if so it’s rather cute, I like the cowgirl vibe the photo is showing. I really like it.
I bought a nice pair of reworn ogee block print cotton culottes from reworn today, £33, it’s a good price if they’re nice on. I’m currently snuggled into my new from the sale mohair high neck sweater, it’s soooo lovely and soft. I hope it’s cold a few more days so I can wear it.

@ScottishMouse thank you so much for the shop recommendation, I will certainly have a look there in a couple of weeks when I am in Edinburgh. I am still decorating, but found time to have a quick look at their website which is very tempting. I absolutely love a shop which sells a good selection from different brands, we have had nothing like that here at the back of beyond, but now the most lovely shop has opened in Ludlow (our nearest civilisation) It's called Lume, and stocks Mama B, yaccomaricard and lots of other nice things. I bought some great Kate Barton trousers which I haven't seen anywhere else. The shop is owned by the ex manager of the Oska shop, I hope she does really well.

@Scotiasdarling I’d recommend Frontiers Woman on William Street and Biscuit at Bruntsfield Place. They have lovely items. Also Wyse have a pop-up on Frederick Street.

Thanks again @Countmeout and @ScallopShellWalk , the linen trousers have arrived and are great - I can see them being a real stalwart this summer. They’re to about ankle length on me and the colour is a pinky blue. It’ll go with other Toast tops and some pink linens I have from White co.

I also bought the blue bolster stripe culottes to try. They’re a really nice garment, great linen and come to just above the ankle on me (I’m 5 10). However, chemo has really made me expand and I’m not sure that they’re flattering. I’ll have another try on session another day and see what I can mix and match in with them. I’d hoped they’d be my summer pair along with the barrel trousers, but so far it’s been hard to style them up without feeling spherical! The v necked blue linen vest top from last year works well with them.

@Bimblesalong was it the barrel leg linen trouser that you bought? I got a pair in dark olive and I am so pleased with them. They are the best fit that I have had from Toast. I’m going to order the blueberry

@Bimblesalong I’m glad you liked the blueberry linen barrel trousers. I really liked them but I didn’t buy them. I like the look of the bolster stripe culottes too and I may try to get to the shop to try them on. I’m really interested in what you thought of them. I hadn’t thought of feeling big in them. They look lovely in the photos. I may still check them out but now I’m less keen. That’s not a bad thing.

@MsDastardley yes it was. I may order the oatmeal!

@ScallopShellWalk they are a beautiful culotte and I want to make them work! I’m not used to seeing myself a size larger in the mirror. It’s given me a wake up after chemo. I think I may have to buy the matching linen shirt as that will sort things 🙄😀

@Bimblesalong 😁 yes that would def sort it out. I’ll have a good look at them. I’m still looking for linen trousers. I bought a pair of linen/cotton trousers from Brora, in black, at Edin airport a couple weeks ago, so I’m not so keen now on the toast black linen ones. These striped ones look ace though. I’m also a bit bigger than I’m used to but maybe I need to get used to that. 😊

Anyone seeing the Toast shared table film across various platforms. A table in the middle of a cliff top field in Wales, looks windy, cold with a hint of sea mist in the long shot.

I see sometimes when you search on the toast website eg for reworn, other stuff comes up that’s not seen if you look under the reworn sections.

I’m not going to lie, I saw that and rolled my eyes so bigly. It looked like a parody to me. And yes @Countmeout I also had the survey reminder and I’ve completed mine too.

I’ve just been to Uniqlo and the JW Anderson collaboration included a long thin denim shirt/dress with side pockets that looked very Toast-like. I tried it on and decided it would be good as a thin coat/open shirt.

I was ecstatic to discover it was reduced to £19.90 at the till!

It’s this one - but for some reason now £9.90 online!
