Warm coat that’s also waterproof

I’m in desperate need of a coat that’s actually warm! And waterproof. Needs to survive a 40 minute walk from home to nursery to work, on the west coast of Scotland 😅

I have a puffer style from Monsoon which is not particularly warm or waterproof 😅 and I usually live in my dark green Seasalt Plant Hunter which does the job in the rain but is freezing!

To add to the difficulty - I’m a size 22 so needs to be available in larger sizes. I also have a health condition which makes me feel the cold more 😬 so need it to be properly toasty lol

Any suggestions would be welcome ☺️

I bought a Seasalt Janelle yesterday in the sale, and am dithering about whether it's warm enough. It seems so light...

Mine is actually warmer than my duck down Levi’s huge puffs coat. I’ve worn it most days since it arrived early December and have been lovely and toasty

The landsend down jackets are lovely and warm but not waterproof ( I have 5 landsend coats I have a problem 😊) The squall is the one I have found the best combination of warm and waterproof for Scottish wet winters.

I work in a school & have to be out break times & lunch times and I take out an SEN child throughout the day. My hubby bought me a green long coat from F&F (Tesco) it was £69 but worth every penny. Its quilted, water/rainproof and goes down to just above my ankles!! Although immomly 5ft 3in lol. It has side poppers so ur not restricted while walking. Inside pockets, side pockets, and the zip goes both ways. Im like a little Eskimo walking around thd yard now ... lovely & warm lol

I quite often get too hot in mine! It's fantastic as far as I'm concerned though.
