Best ever boots !

I have just noticed these boots on sale .

I have these , they were closer to £200 when I purchased them. I got them about 5 years ago .

They still look brand new. They are a staple. I wear them most days in autumn / winter as they go with everything - skirts , dresses, skinny jeans , trousers . They are quite high, but they’re comfy. I am quite heavy footed and notice that a lot of heels I wear do then to wear easily , but these haven’t. They honestly do not have a single mark on them.

I just thought I would share. I never spend that much on shoes for myself and I remember getting them and justifying to myself that I would wear them all the time but knowing deep down it was just because they were beautiful and I got them on Klarna because I couldn’t bring myself to shell out £200 at once! But , they ended up being one of the best purchases I’ve ever made !

They would kill me. The instep is so high. They are lovely though

RayonSunrise · 31/12/2025 09:20

Those are very nice! I have already bought some quite high black leather boots this season, otherwise I’d be tempted.

CountryMouse22 · 31/12/2025 12:49

Too high for me!

pixie1345 · 31/12/2025 12:56

I spent £1000 on a pair of fendi boots!

Screamingabdabz · 31/12/2025 12:59

Far too high. :-(

FestiveFruitloop · 31/12/2025 13:28

Oh, those are beautiful. I wish they'd stated the heel height though. How high would you say they are, roughly? I've somewhat lost the knack of walking in heels since lockdown.

GlitzAndGigglesx · 31/12/2025 15:49

I love them but I'd snap bones wearing them

Happyjoe · 31/12/2025 15:58

They are a thing of beauty, but never been able to wear heels. First of all they would make me 6ft tall and secondly I walk like a duck in heels, very unsexy. I do hope you're treating yourself to another pair.

I have just bought a pair of men's walking boots. Totally against my style and was a painful buying experience for my soul, but a year of plantar fasciitis, they are flipping bliss, not hurting at all when I wear them.

ICantBeDoingWithThat · 31/12/2025 16:15

Oh, they are gorgeous 😍.

FranticFrankie · 31/12/2025 16:18

Very nice boots! I wouldn't be able to walk in them though; wish I could

HeadDeskHeadDesk · 31/12/2025 17:20

I've got a very similar pair, black leather, knee high with silver buckles but much flatter with a blocky heel, more like a riding boot. I've absolutely lived in them for two winters now and like yours they still look in a very good state. I've also just bought another pair of boots with a similar high heel to yours. Brown suede, knee high but slouchy and I love them. Completely different to my other pair but equally comfy and versatile. I love that they have a proper high heel but it's chunky and supportive, not the sort I am going to teeter around in, or twist my ankle or break my neck in as soon as it gets stuck in a gap in the pavement.

Both of them have been a significant investment (not silly expensive but around the 200 mark) but totally worth every penny.

Daftypants · 31/12/2025 17:37

Oh they’re lovely …but are you a podiatrist and you want our business 😂 ??

catpigeon · 31/12/2025 17:38

They are already dreadful boots

WhitePudding · 31/12/2025 18:33

I’ve stopped wearing boots all far too uncomfortable. I’ve spent £££££ on them over the years. You know what my comfiest footwear is? A pair of maroon velvet Adidas knock offs from New Look. I paid around £25 with a code. Cheap as chips but Lordy the comfort factor is amazing. I wear them with wide legged trousers and jeans.

Isometimeswonder · 31/12/2025 21:01

I would be 6'2 in those..and all my trousers would be too short!
Glad you're happy @Whatacraptimeofyear, I'm sure they make you feel amazing!

CharlotteSometimes1 · 01/01/2026 07:29

They’re dated though, it’s 2026 not 2010.

Goditsmemargaret · 01/01/2026 08:49

Oh god too high for me.

I am living in my dark brown, low heel cowboy boots these days. I absolutely love them. Don't come for me fashionistas - not up to date on current trends.

Justgorgeous · 01/01/2026 09:03

Very old fashioned.

Notquitethere60 · 01/01/2026 09:43

Far too high for everyday wear. I prefer riding type boots that are pull on. You can buy them for around £250. I have a Hobbs pair over ten years old that I paid £100 for. Never date.
