Quidco £10 cb on H&B £50 spend.

Got the lip cracker from SNK.
Tatcha balm on but needs time, I recently got the U beauty balm and that's been disappointing so fingers crossed. The Orange lip balm from about face is very pigmented, with a careful hand can be put on a bit sheer maybe lip brush would be better. Couldn't wear it full on.
Hero - Fresh Rose lip oil - deep rose, very very nice every day colour. Looks red on my screen and another reviewer thought it was red too but is definitely deep cool mlbb pink.
Liner is bright red so won't keep which is a shame, plus SNK put a bright red liner in their advent...
Still available for £19.50 worth it for the Tatcha and Fresh for me www.spacenk.com/uk/christmas/gift-sets/lip-heroes-MUK200057330.html

M and S edit £30. I quite like this as a wellness/pampering type edit.

Similar one from OK but twice the price at £60

Fenty mystery box £29.50

I like the m and s one.
I got the ok one before xmas on tiktok shop for around £30. Bought 2 and used for gifts. Wouldn't pay £60.

Hypothetically- how many face creams and serums do you need to have before you are peak no buy?

JoRaRaRa · 09/01/2026 13:52

After the madness of yesterday, I've gone back to No Buy January ⛔ None of these are enough to tempt me.

Does anyone know, can I collect my SNK birthday present without purchasing if I go into store? Sounds cheap, but I have spent an absolute fortune with them before Christmas and then in the sales too and there's nothing else I want.

BakeOffRewatch · 09/01/2026 13:54

@BlueLimes for me, and I guess I would be the lower end of the scale, it would be by time to use rather than number of items. I don’t want to be using stuff I bought more than a year ago. So say 3 full sizes and 5 travel sizes.

I don’t know how realistic that is. I am still willing the Dr Sebagh Rose De View serum from Liberty 2024 AC to finish up! That’s the last serum I have and then I can buy one I actually want to use - thinking Reome Recovery Broth that really worked for me.

Oh I’ve so much more than that 😳
I think I need to reign myself in.

I’ve never been a huge fan of dr Sebagh. Definitely get one you want next !

BlueLimes · 09/01/2026 14:01

@JoRaRaRa I'm pretty sure I got my gift with no purchase.

I think they just scan your card or verify your email. At least that's what they've done for me previously when I popped in just to collect my birthday gift!

MrsBnow12 · 09/01/2026 14:15

I don’t think I want to be adding my creams and serums in my stash.
I did a count of my mascara’s this morning and have 18 😱 9 are the travel size Hourglass Unlocked, my favourite, and 4 are full size and all are black except one.

IlovePond · 09/01/2026 15:29

@JoRaRaRa - in 2024, I just went into SNK and asked for my birthday gift. They just checked my email address and gave it to me. This year I got an email with a code to redeem my birthday gift. I think it’s a very nice gesture for them to give it without any spend necessary. They are just sample sizes, so cost SNK nothing, but it’s a lovely thought and I appreciate it.

I also redeemed my birthday gifts from Clinique and Rituals, but did have to make a purchase. I didn’t bother with the LF and CB offers.

I am still annoyed with ELauder for messing up my birthday reward. CS were very churlish and, even though they begrudgingly eventually said they would ‘make an exception’ and give me the gift retrospectively if I purchased something then contacted them again, I couldn’t be bothered. I think my relationship with the EL website is over now!

Oh that makes me feel a lot better, I think I have approx 10 mascaras, mix of sizes (all black).
I am about to start a new one this weekend after finishing my Glossier one. Ilia is up next.

I’ve got approx 10 face creams - 3 of which are Elemis as that’s my staple brand (hence my disappointment at missing the BAC yesterday, but it saved my pocket)

Ive got various serums. I need to start using up body creams too, I’ve got loads

Thelifeofawife · 09/01/2026 19:31

There’s some good discounts on Debenhams website on skincare, make up & fragrance. I’m not specifically looking for anything now but I scrolled a couple of pages and thought these look nice (similar colours to the LE ones we got)
There is an extra discount and free NDD for £100 spend

Sorry I’m rubbish at adding pics/links on here

I wouldn't shop.on debenhams if you paid me. Last time I bought from them I got sent used products which after a 3 week wait to speak with a human, they 'lost' my return and wouldn't refund.

MrsBnow12 · 09/01/2026 21:08

I have just had an email saying DPD are expecting my Harrods parcel and I only ordered the Elemis.

I second this. Bough some skincare sets for xmas presents on 29th on November, arrived packed in a flimsy bag hence all battered. Requested a return via CS as it was showing non returnable on their website and never got a reply. Raised a chargeback via my bank eventually and now that the case is with mastercard they have finally issued me with a returns label, not actually holding my hopes high for a refund at this point 🤦🏻‍♀️

For the love of God make sure the return tracks as mine didn't. I had buyer protection on klarna so did eventually get my money back. Debenhams are absolute shysters now and anyone buying from them is taking an absolute gamble.

Not beauty related but just as a general warning Zavvi have absolutely crashed out over this last Xmas period. Their trust pilot page is a mess, so many people have not had orders fulfilled going right back to November. They used to be okay a few years ago but it's so bad I'm expecting them to announce liquidation very soon. Their entire CS structure seems to be MIA too.

@IDontHateRainbows @HolaLolla That’s terrible! It must be since they were taken over a few years ago, I never had issues with Debenhams in the past.

Yeah they sold the brand name, it bears no resemblance to the debenhams of old.
