I’ve used the Biossance copper peptide serum, and I liked it a lot — I repurchased it multiple times. But after a few bottles, I moved on to other things because it was just a bit too expensive for the role it played in my routine.

I could probably be drawn back in for the current price, if not for the fact I’m so well stocked up with everything right now, and very far over my spending intentions for the season.

Oh gosh @LemonJuiceFromConcentrate what did you replace it with? Perhaps I should just go for it, idk.

I bought the selfridges edit which was sent to me internationally. Why do companies claim to ship intl only for it to be a huge faff and nothing is in stock that they are willing to ship?! But selfridges was seamless. The box was discontinued but kind of made up with it with the shipping but I am delighted with it! It’s one of the best kits of the year for me. I will use everything. The only flop is the eyelash curler as it cannot compete with my hg shisheido one. But the hourglass powder, delina edp, Lisa Eldridge lip gloss and bobbi brown eyeshadow stick are all fab. And westman atelier blush!

@BakeOffRewatchthanks! The uk is unmatched with edits and the like. They aren’t really thing here at all. It’s this one but it’s sold out now.

Ooh yes I saw that one. I didn’t really get what the calm patches are! Yes there is a lot of choice on edits, I think I’d be delighted with most of only comparing the RRPs and the chance to try new things, rather than comparing edits with other edits

@BakeOffRewatchthey’re basically patches that release a herbal scent which can be calming. You can put them on the temples for headache relief. I guess it’s aromatherapy in a patch form. I’ll update once I’ve used it and and am an ocean of calmness and zen 😂

Seems like new year sales aren't really a thing now as most of them seemed to start Xmas eve and are now tailing off.

Not a bad thing for those of us trying to be more mindful.

Glad I've got the Beautylish box and Liberty beauty drop to look forward to in January. As they are pre purchased technically they fall outside my low buy that began today but January is bloody miserable so hopefully they'll give me a boost to make it to the end of the month without succumbing to whatever sparkly new edits are dreamt up.

Yeah I don’t like the whole £15 voucher that Cult Beauty might not give you automatically and you have to chase through their terrible customer service, and with limitations on it like you can’t use it with discount codes or a minimum spend so it’s no better than the 20% off they do regularly (25% for gold tier), and then there’s a time limit too! I prefer straight forward loyalty points and rewards matched to spend.

The hair care stocking is back to £30, it was £21 in December, so that will deter hopefully.
